I wish for some reason Goodel would void his contract I think he is on a team NOW that has reached it's zenith and will soon begin a slide to being in the 80th percentile of the league.
IMO he'd have had a better chance getting a ring here than there ( if form holds I just got him a ring with my legendary capacity for bad predictions).
Anyway ,thanks for EVERYTHING
I wish I could feel the same way, but I don't.VCRam said:I just feel bad that he won't be here when the Rams turn the corner.
Well said, Jackson had choices and chose the one that best fit his priorities.....as the old saying goes; "it's just business". Ironically, it may all end up a win-win, only time will tell. The Dude said:I wish I could feel the same way, but I don't.VCRam said:I just feel bad that he won't be here when the Rams turn the corner.
All he had to do was stay, but he elected to *try* and go out on top. I don't blame him for that, because his clock is surely running out, but he chose the path he chose. And for that, I really wouldn't be sympathetic towards him if the Rams made it further than the Falcons this year. And next year. And the year after that.
