No crap, and oh btw Witten - you SUCK as an announcer - and I don't even care that you were all over Mahomes tip. (Great TE though).

He is not long for the booth.
The entire MNF broadcast crew is horrid. I listened to the Rams announcers on Sirius/XM and paused my DVR, at the beginning of the game, to sync with their broadcast. They were just a couple plays behind the actual telecast, and it's much better listening. I've been doing the same for other MNF games as of late.

It looked like a borderline horse collar tackle out of bounds, if I am thinking of the right play. I mentioned to my wife that Malcom Brown was in the game and she said, "Oh, No. I hope Gurley isn't hurt." Of course, the broadcasters didn't even notice, and the bobbleheads are saying Gurley had a bad game. Geez.

Don’t know exactly which play McVay is referring to but by his admission it was early and Gurley was explosive late. I’m not worried. Think it was more of the way KC played us to take away TGIII and make Goff beat them....and beat them he did

Makes you wonder why Kurt didn't get that gig. Kurt was the front runner for that job.

Speculation on my part but did Jurra Jones pull some strings for his recently retired boy.

Cortisone shots are wonderful. He was almost non-existent in the first half and looked noticeably lame after the tackle from behind. He came out from halftime and was running hard and looked fast again. As the third and fourth quarter rolled on he was struggling it looked like. Hopefully just a regular ankle sprain that'll be fine by next week.

Did he receive cortisone shots? I hadn’t heard that

I saw it too. He got crushed early, but then he got pushed back into another player, after the whistle, and he came out soon after that. Weird how nobody in the media picked it up, even today! They just say Gurley had a bad game, geez. It was Monday Night Football wasn't it?

He showed something coming back in.

Unless I missed it, I never heard an update when Cooks went out.

Again maybe I missed it. I was on tape delay at some points.

But he was back in next time I turned around. Broadcasters had an off night.

there were no player updates because it would of gotten in the way of all the embellishing and hyperbole that was tossed around by witten when he wasn't inhaling the players members

I didn't hear that it just makes sense. McVay confirmed today that he did hurt his ankle on that play in the first quarter. So my guess is they obviously used him as a decoy the first half, gave him a shot at halftime which let him come out and play for a bit, and as the game wore on the shot didn't help as much and he was a decoy again for most of the 4th. Most of Gurley's attempts and yards came in the third quarter.

Same with Troy Hill. Injured Rams just kept reappearing in the game with no mention ha.

They're fucking useless aren't they? The only ones that brought it up were Wright and Carter.

I have no solid evidence but i could have sworn this would be the topic during the game and after but no-one seemed to pick it up besides the 2 guys i was watching the game with. That one outside run to the right where he got tackled by the legs and got bent awkwardly is the play I'm talking about. After that play he wasn't in the following play and only was in the next drive maybe 2 plays. Later in the 3RD QT when they were showing mcvay talking to the offense Gurley was nowhere to be found....he was off to the side and i saw mcvay lip to him....hows your back..... gurley looked to brush it off and say I'm good but it was deff. telling to me and the guys that i was with that something wasn't right.....yes he was in there for blocking and a decoy and receiving but maybe he could bend over to run it......like i said idk i hope I'm wrong but i think it was a very quiet injury that I'm shocked wasn't broadcasted? anyone tape the game and see what we saw????? But anyway the game was great glad we are getting talib back now and that we have a bye week to have a little bit of a break....not having a bye this late in the year is very tough so hopefully mcvay gets these guys some rest and back to work when we need to be ready.............EDIT....SORRY THE TITLE MEANT TO SAY GURLEY......STUPID IPHONE
Yes, I said the same thing when that tackle was made. He definitely tweeked something on that play. Hopefully, the bye week is what the doctor ordered.
