I’m probably coops biggest fan (I’m still pissed we didn’t try to get him the single yardage record ) a couple more years similar to this and he will be but not quite yet

.

He's one of the best to ever play the game. Screw the stats. Every team knows they must stop him and they can't. That's the mark of an elite talent.

As I said in another thread:

Maybe, but I'm still trying to get Torry Holt into the Hall..
Torry is great and should be in.
But there wasn't any season where you could say, definitively, that he was the best WR in the NFL and an MVP candidate.

Kupp is a lock at getting in the HOF.
He is a modern Jerry Rice. Bigger and stronger than Jerry but so similar. So it's appropriate they are both the only two Triple Crown and Super Bowl MVPs.

Oh and btw there are likely 6 Hall of Fame players on this roster...

1. Aaron Donald
2. Jalen Ramsey
3. Von Miller
4. Matthew Stafford
5. Cooper Kupp
6. Andrew Whitworth

What a team. What a season.

But the big question is...
Will Matthew Stafford get the State Farm commercial next season?

I think you can add one more: Johnny Hekker. As a punter, he is one of the best ever, even if he's on the downside of his career.

Good catch. :thumbsup1:

Btw wondering which Super Bowl winner had the most Hall of Famers on its roster. Because 7 seems like a lot. Might end up being the answer to a trivia question in twenty years lol.

I think Coop's a lock. The only thing that may have held back his development on an NFL level was coming in as a rookie at 24 years of age. Kupp developed an excellent chemistry with Goff and that has gone thru the roof with Stafford. Cooper & Stafford are like two brothers from another mother, both with incredible football acumen and being coached up by the Brain ... Sean McVay. Just the idea of Kupp & Obj as #1 and #2 WR's for L.A. is damn near euphoric, and while this pairing may be on a temporary hold, I can only dream of what they might deliver in the years to come. Kupp's reception percentage has been over 70% in every year since his rookie season, and 2021 was his best yet at 75.9%, ... so yeah, he's still on a career upswing from what I can see. HoF, you bet !

No, he’s off to a good start but needs more numbers. He gets under estimated and under appreciated by far too many to think he is a shoe in at this point.
