Nah, i just don't consider Watson in Mahomes' class in terms of moxie. The intangibles. If i need a QB to win a big game for me there are only a few guys i'd want today. Watson isn't one of them yet.

I posted earlier in this thread that he scored a TD after being super kicked in the eye. Deshauns MO since his Clemson days was winning in the 4th. He's always had that. Saying Pat is better is one thing, but Deshaun is right behind him. Just IMO.

Yeaaaa....Pat is in his own tier, but Watson is still really good. It’s just that he has BoB.

Like it's fine if BOB was just the HC. But he's the one that assembled this team...err disassembled and getting crap in return.

It's just one game. Watson has lead his team from behind and performed well in plenty of clutch situations. His overall talent around him hasn't been great either.

That's one target. Hopkins wasn't getting 20+ receptions a game. I'm referring to the complimentary pieces around him and Hopkins. No run game, and other receivers were performing consistently. That's why I said overall talent.

It's not jealousy, its disgust. He gets paid more to play a single game, than the average person will make in their entire working life. The system is broken. And if this guy says a word about being oppressed, he's not only spoiled and entitled, but mentally retarded as well.
These guys worked their whole life for this opportunity and beat out 99.9% of other football players. He bet on himself and won. Don’t get mad at him bc you didn’t invest in yourself.

This is so bitter that I’m pretty sure it’s molding.

I know that many here have sung the praises of D. Watson. Personally, I am not a fan. I have always seen him as somewhat overrated.

After seeing tonight's game I would guess, however, that we can agree we are all happy it's not our Rams paying him $39M let year. That Goff contract is looking pretty good about now.

I’d give him that extra 5 mill to have him over Goff.

No, but he was getting a ton of overall looks and getting double teamed, which caused his other receivers to be open for one on one. Last year was a down year for Deandre in the stat book but Deshaun had a great season.

Who says I didn't invest in myself, you have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe I rolled the dice and failed? Maybe it's none of your business. Most Americans will be waiting in line for food stamps, while all professional athletes become billionaires. Sound about right in todays world.

I understand, but thesuccess shouldn’t make you mad.
Some crazy ish has happened the past year.
Even if you failed trying to reach that level of success you should appreciate the ones that were able to push past the point you need. It’s a hard grind for a successful life. Hats off to anyone with the work ethic to get it.

And you said this on a public forum. It’s everyone’s business at that point.

Watson has almost no talent around him now. Compared to what Mahomes has. If you put Watson on the Chiefs with Hill, Kelsey and the slew of fast WR's, not to mention Reid's offense which has always been a top offense, then I bet Watson puts up Mahomes numbers without question.

QB's go up and down depending on talent and this looks like a down year for Watson.

Goff with a competent Oline has shown to be in the same elite group, unless you forget the Rams Chiefs game from 2018.

Pass yards per game...Goff numbers are exact same as Mahomes. The only difference is Mcvays use of runs around the goaline, which skews Goff's TD numbers contributing to a skewed perception.

Not a fan of how much these QBs get paid. But at least all of a sudden nobody will be crying about how much Goff is making.
Unfortunately I’m not sure that’s true, according to some Goff’s contract is still the reason for the Rams decline and I suspect it won’t be the reason if the Texans or the Hags or anyone else who pays their qb 25+ has a down season.

The divide between the rich and the poor grows deeper. He's going to get 2,437,500 PER GAME for the course of his contract. Most people will never earn that much in their entire lifetimes. And the whiney bitch will probably complain about how he's oppressed. I'm growing tired of sports in general.
It’s easy to have an opinion about athletes and entertainers cuz they’re on our TVs all the time but what about the guys making real money, most of whom I’ve never heard of. Bezos will probably be making a trillion bucks before too long.

You are absolutely right. And Bezos got his money because he gets special shipping rates from the USPS, causing them to lose money, and puts all the small retailers out of business.
