It will be interesting to see what they do if they ever have a draft where they have a full compliment of picks.

Right now they do great job with late picks because that is all they have to focus on. They can eliminate 60-75 players that had little chance of reaching 104.

Would hope when that happens, they are smart enough to maybe break down their scouting dept to still have a contingent that only focuses on rds 4-7... While another contingent can focus on those Top 75 players.

That would be a great approach so you keep that lazer focus on finding late round gems, but still obviously placing huge importance on nailing those high picks.

Well The Rams DB group is solid with Hill back, agreed. I think your doubt is over blown.—Shula as the DB’s coach is another concern then ?
IMO RR31 is going to be a solid CB.I’m training camp he showed good skill. He was only improving as the season went on. His injury was a freak injury.
David Long is going to get paid in 2023. Hopefully a comp pick that fits The Rams formula.
My doubt? I said I felt a lot better about the CB (and S) room since reaquiring Hill and drafting those DBs. Or are you talking about my doubt prior to that?

Robert Rochelle & David Long.Yes Hill is a solid piece who is a proven CB.I think the concern was having an extra CB to replace D. Williams.

RR31 looks like the best pure CB besides RAMsey. His Willingness to learn & skill set is there, now he just has to prove it.David Long & Hill have played 2 seasons together competing.Hill is the better of the 3 because of experience & his fit with The Rams defensive scheme.
The cool thing about Hill & Long is they can switch (interlock) between there skill sets making it easier for them to switch & confuse the offense. Hill is such a willing tackler & Long just needs that confidence or push to get better. He is on the cusp & working again with Hill should bring that out.
These young draft picks will find it hard to break into the 48 on game day.
