Deep Draft Sleepers/UDFA guys - 2025 edition

McShay said on his podcast that this is a very good draft. Mentioned that it was criticized earlier as not a great year, but the more you dig into it, it's a very deep draft.

It just doesn't have the two or 3 franchise QB's or a few elite LT's... it just doesn't have those 6 or 7 freaky guys at the top of the draft. However, you can get really good players on day 3, specifically really good DL and RBs will be had through round 5 & 6. The TE group is deep as well.

Yeah seems very good for WR, TE, RB, DL and CB and thinking we could draft somebody from each group.

I'm banging that drum for Efton Chism III. Just like that he does special teams and had that quick twitch ability to win on route cuz of his COD quickness.

WR Jordan Watkins Ole Miss 5'11" 200 lbs 4.35/40 ; 2025: 49 rec 906 yards 9 TD's 18.5 yards per catch
I haven't seen anyone talk about this guy. One of Jaxson Darts most productive receivers. I think he would be the perfect "stretch the field" guy for the Rams. This video is just from 1 game against Arkansas when he scored 4 TD's

LB Kain Medrano UCLA 6'2" 225 lbs 4.50 / 40
Medrano was an invite to the East/West Shrine. He was clocked as the fastest defender in attendance. He is excellent in coverage ; can mirror almost any RB or TE. His niche would be as a Subpackage defender, like a nickel linebacker on long down & distance and his speed would be an upgrade to Special Teams. He would need to bulk up in order to play the run ; he gets washed out too easily when trying to fill running lanes and taking on blocks.
