Who are the players not getting enough talk right now?
Who do the Rams draft late at 192, 203, 204? *pick projections from NFL Mock Draft Database

A lot of the players mentioned last year in this thread ended up rising significantly but were being slept on in February.

The NFL mock draft database mentioned above has the tackle from Cincinnati (John Williams) ranked at 366 overall currently. His footwork, hand use and balance at the East-West game were impressive.

Will highlight two receivers I had in my last mock draft: Zakhari Franklin and Moose Muhammad III - and my money's on Franklin if I want the Rams to take a late receiver. Franklin's absolutely one of the best route runners in this class; he makes it look easy. He's tied for ninth all time in the FBS for touchdowns and has sole possession of eighth all time for receptions (even with an uncharacteristically bad year at Ole Miss where he didn't play), has solid YAC ability, vises for hands, and underrated speed (runs a 4.49, and he plays faster than that). He's going to be twenty-five in October, but I'm willing to bet that he could end up being one of the better receivers from this crop.

Think last year I went with a safety in Mustafa so this year I'll go with another. Lets go with Jonas Sanker from Virginia he's a free safety/cover safety/center fielder type whatever you want to call it. He's also really good for a cover guy against the run. You won't want him covering a deep threat he doesn't have the speed but he's good at reading the QB and takes good angles in coverage support.

Kevin Winston safety PSU

The Rams don’t seem to need a Safety but this guy could be a very good late round pickup. He was a leader on a good defensive backfield group. He got injured early in the season and didn’t play the rest of the year. James Franklin never disclosed what the injury was exactly.

Winston was expected to be the captain of the defense. He’s listed as 6’ - 2” and 205 pounds. Hed be a very good late round pickup with high upside. Hes got a high football IQ. He could possibly be a better version of Quentin Lake playing in the Star.

I don’t know if he’d make it past the 3rd round, but…

Anthony Belton, OT (NC St) 6-6/336
Here’s the swing Tackle in training to be a starter in ‘26.

Definitely turning out to be a potential second round pick and definitely won't make it past the third round unless something happens.

I like Jaylen McCLoud .... an underrated pass rusher who has experience playing off ball in the middle.

I already think he's higher on most draft boards than one would think. As much as I like Winston, Rams won't be drafting a Safety that high...maybe one for depth in the 6th

Cameron Oliver - CB - UNLV
There isn't any highlight video of him yet, but I watched 3 UNLV games this past season and was impressed with Oliver and ILB Woodard. Oliver also is one of the highest graded CB's in PFF this past season

Love Devin Neal. However, I'm seeing him projected from late 3rd to 4th. And that feels about right for him too.
Yeah I could see the too. But I wouldn't be shocked if he's the faller.

I’m going deep. Elijah Sarratt/WR. Saint Francis - JMU (my Alma mata) - Indiana. He excelled at each level and improved the program significantly with each move. I’d go R6/R7 on him. UDFA if available.

A video of Zakhari Franklin at Illinois. Reminds me of Tyler Johnson, actually. Little less physicality on the YAC, but very physical at battling for the ball in the air and being the "alpha dog".

His clips at the University of Texas San Antonio Roadrunners (creative name). That's where he was at his most dominant.

Again, he's eighth in career receptions and tied for ninth in career touchdowns in FBS career history, even after he never played at Ole Miss. You don't do that by accident. He's an older prospect, but a team leader at both UTSA and Illinois, that I'd gladly take him on this team. I think he could very well outperform a late draft slot.

McShay said on his podcast that this is a very good draft. Mentioned that it was criticized earlier as not a great year, but the more you dig into it, it's a very deep draft.

It just doesn't have the two or 3 franchise QB's or a few elite LT's... it just doesn't have those 6 or 7 freaky guys at the top of the draft. However, you can get really good players on day 3, specifically really good DL and RBs will be had through round 5 & 6. The TE group is deep as well.
