Darren Sproles - RB - Eagles
Eagles signed RB Darren Sproles to a two-year contract extension through 2016.

Sproles, 31 in June, was already under contract for $3.5 million for 2014, the final year of his deal. It's possible GM Howie Roseman is extending Sproles to knock the cap hit down a bit, but we doubt it since the Eagles are already in terrific cap shape. The deal locks Sproles in as LeSean McCoy's No. 2 and could make Bryce Brown expendable. Coach Chip Kelly doesn't seem to be a fan of Brown's. The Eagles might be able to get a late-round pick for him.


Bryce Brown anyone? I like Brown more than Richardson by far.
 
I wouldn't have a problem bringing in Brown.
There's nothing wrong with some position competition.
 
If the Rams bring in an RB, it will have to be on the cheap. Stacy/Cunningham is solid.
 
Brown has some potential but nothing I'm willing to give up assets to attain
 
I'd prefer to draft another Isaiah Pead-type who can actually play.
