Have have FOUR reserve LB'ers signed behind our 3 starters. Looks like they like them better than most think since they let Darren Bates ride off into the sunset.

Both Bryce Hager & Cameron Lynch have been MLB'ers for many seasons in college. IMO both BH & CL have better potential starting material skills than Bates ever had. Zack Hodges can play anywhere you stick him in the from seven. Zack does not care. Hodges size is more of a SSLB'er or a pass rushing blitzer edge rusher (tweener). Bryce Hager has the skills to back up Mark Barron if need be, I think we will see this in TC.

Then there another new guy named Matt Wells. Wells, LB, 6-2, 215, Mississippi State...Wells is an undersized, speedy linebacker who is a perfect WSLB'er to transition to a hybrid safety role of Mark Barron...Bates was never going to do that. This kid is the same size as Mark & faster than most all our WR's!;)

This FA period is really stating to "Suck", We are losing too much defensive depth!!

It's a good sign when your players are coveted and pursued. In years past, when most people left the Rams they were also leaving the league.

Agreed, BUT!! it doesn't make me feel any better about losing players!!
