I wonder how far Goff can throw it.
Why can't we do that any more?
Makes sense!Mostly because our offense isn't as good at picking up the blitz as it was then.
Also because McVay is a lot more conservative this season than he has been before. He has a defense that can win him games and with first and second year RBs and a young O-line that struggles against stunts and the blitz, combined with Goffs fumbles and ints after contact in the pocket, taking shots downfield just hasn't been in the mix.
Wish we would try to get some reps on the long ball this Sunday but I've pretty much given up hope that we will see it much until McVay trusts his young RBs in pass protection.
I know Adam Carriker threw it over 70 yards one time...so throwing far aint all this there is to being a QB, which I think you know.I wonder how far Goff can throw it.
It's not how far you can throw it, but what you can do with it!I know Adam Carriker threw it over 70 yards one time...so throwing far aint all this there is to being a QB, which I think you know.

Defenses caught up.Crazy how much better the offense looked in McVays first year. Even Goff looks better. I wonder what happened.
