Fox was originally an UDFA who bounce on and off the Rams throughout 2016. In 2017 he finally makes the roster before he has a season ending injury. He's strictly a DE and he's behind Brockers and JFM. I at best he might make the PS as injury insurance but I don't see him on the active roster when the season starts. He's 24 and already 2 years behind.
I don't see Brockers returning in 2020. He's been part of the problem at pass rush and isn't as stout as he needs to be at the POA on run plays. To his credit Brockers is playing out of position. He's not a DE or one technique, he's a 3 technique but the Rams already have the best in the NFL there. He's a first round pick who hasn't played like one. He will be 29 in December. IMO in his limited snaps JFM out played him last year. Kiser, JD and Obo are just potential at this point. We shouldn't be assuming they will perform up to expectations all we can do is hope they will.
I see a whole lot of question marks in that front 7. But they have very good players in Donald, Fowler, Ebukam and Littleton. They also have potential solid talent in Gaines, Sebastian-Day, Franklin-Myers. Personally I'm not sold on Matthews. I think his age is showing and he struggled in coverage and isn't as strong at POA as he used to be. Hopefully this new system will energize him and they can get a solid season from him.
