EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The St. Louis Rams returned to practice Tuesday after a long weekend to reflect on last week's disappointing performance against San Francisco.

The good news for the Rams is that they didn't appear to add but one name to the expected group of players not practicing. Right guard Harvey Dahl did not practice Tuesday for undisclosed reasons. He did watch the practice from the sidelines.

The rest of the injured players were all mentioned by coach Jeff Fisher in his news conference on Friday. Tackle Rodger Saffold (knee), defensive end William Hayes (knee), cornerback Cortland Finnegan (hamstring) and linebacker Will Witherspoon (hamstring) did not participate in the practice.

The Rams aren't required to release an injury report until Wednesday

It makes sense to me he may be having an issue of some kind. He was terrible vs. SF. I would not be surprised to hear it is a back issue of some kind. Let the guy rest and get healthy if he is injured and get a young kid in there and see what they can do.

lol That's right. There's been so many I forget what it is now.

If Dahl, doesn't play.....who's next up? Logic says S. Smight, right?

Who was at right guard in his place ?

In pre season it was Brandon Washington, Shelley Smith & Barrett Jones all are healthy & available if they are needed. Both our OG's Harvey & Chris have been horrible in their performances the last few weeks. Before that they just were OK in pass blocking but after the NFL world found out we can not run the ball it was open season on these two OG's.

Neither of our starting two OG's are on any injury list period. Seems like Harvey has never knocked all the rust off since his bicep tears late last season.
