Not sure what the details are on the A Rob contract or how much cap space we gained from the Stafford extension, but there are still some great options left in FA at both Edge and CB. I know some would like Bobby Wagner at ILB and who wouldn't?? But I still feel like OLB and CB are much bigger needs, especially with how well Ernest Jones played last year.

What makes sense contract wise and who would you guys want?? Ingram/Houston + Bouye? Does Joe Hayden or Kyle Fuller have anything left in the tank?

I'm keeping costs down and going with two young guys :

Edge - Arden Key
CB - Rasul Douglas

And for good measure, I'd bring back Morgan Fox at DE.

Is Joe Haden washed up? It looks like there are more older veteran options out there for CB if guys like Bouye, Gilmore, Haden, Peterson, Fuller have anything left in the tank.

I feel like last years IOL is this years EDGE on this board.

Maybe we have guys ready to step in. Having said that, i do think it gets addressed in terms of adding some vet experience.

I also believe that the Rams are positioning themselves to be able to be active at the mid season trade deadline. IMO this is being overlooked.

Hollins is an average at best NFL starter, I would say slightly below average. And T Lewis can't be counted on to stay healthy. How many games in a row was he inactive down the stretch last year? With losing Obo on top of Von, I think it's a must we add a veteran Edge in FA. I just wonder if we're going to spend more on CB and go to the bargain bin for OLB, or vise versa? Hopefully we've created enough room to sign a decent player at both positions but I dont know.

We could guess but we wouldn’t be right so best to just keep track. McSnead continues to surprise.

This is true, and i was ready to cut bait in 2020. But once Von arrived, Lewis sat a lot. I mean of course he did. It's not like he was in the hot tub all year though. Had more PT last year behind Von then he did his rookie year. Just sayin.

Folks here said Allen and Boom couldn't play. That turned out to be completely false, and it happened in practice and behind closed doors. My point is if the Rams aren't throwing resources at a position they probably feel good about it going forward. Especially a position like OLB.

I don't like any of the edge types out there now. Maybe they sign one of these clowns real cheap or whatever, which is fine by me, but I feel like they need to take a shot in the draft on one and hope he can at least move into the rotation. This is a good OLB class so hopefully the Rams can capitalize.

Corner to me feels just as bad as edge roster-wise. The guys available on the market aren't top cover options, Gilmore isn't what he used to be, but he's way better than what we have.

TE is a need but with Robinson added to Kupp we look good in number of matchups in the pass game so I can't imagine it's too hard to draft a really good blocker. Generally the guys who block well have some among them with good hands, that's the kind of guy I'd like to see them add to the room. Would of course like to see them sign Gronk, but if he's gonna go at a discount it will be Tampa.

I'm more of a Gilmore and Clowney kind of guy

Clowney would absolutely blow up playing with AD and Floyd. It would be filthy. Then he could go get a 15-20 million per year contract after.

And before and after we won the Superbowl again he can tell us how his brothers are on this team and he loves LA and wants to retire a Ram and here comes Buffalo with 130 million this time and zoom peace bitches I won't forget to write!!!!

I'm all seriousness i agree clowney and Gilmore for sure clowney is still young and with our training staff we could maybe keep him as healthy as possible. I'd be ok with this and I think again a better all around defense.

I would take a shot at Clowney if the deal makes sense like heavy in incentives. He fits in with what we have tried before with Fowler and even VM to an extent. Otherwise does JPP have another season in him, we don't necessarily need an every down guy

Clowney had his best season in three years playing with Garrett. 9 sacks 11 tfl’s 37 WB hits. I bet he’s not looking to play cheap.

I’d love the Rams to land Stephone Gilmore. Callahan could be an option as a good slot guy. But the size between Rochell, Gilmore and Ramsey is better than the smurfs Les seems to find. Maybe we’d get some better tackling out of that trip.

Tyrann Matthieu is still available too I believe. He’s also an experienced player that could help lead the secondary.

And according to Spotrac their combined market value is near $27M per.
