So as we move past the draft and into the camp window what are the situations you see occurring that everyone will be surprised by. Doesn't have to just be the Rams. Let's hear your predictions.

Here's one that I think has a real good chance of occurring:

Matt Corral, who I have told the Rams on numerous occasions they should have traded for, will give Young everything he can handle in their camp battle and show very well for Carolina in preseason. Because Frank is a pussy (good coach but a bit lacking in the balls dept) he will of course start Young. But it's going to be one of the more entertaining storylines in camp this year and they're going to benefit when they move Corral post-camp for much more than what teams would have paid during the offseason.

I like Corral a whole lot, and would have loved the Rams trading a pick for his services, but he isnt in Young's league. Had Corral had a year in the same system it may have given him a slight leg up, but he'll be learning a new system and will be as much of a rookie as Young is. Last I heard, he wont even be ready for OTA so he may even be behind come TC

Well it wouldn't be a crazy prediction if everyone agreed with it.

But I think the logic is there. I think Corral was undervalued when he came out. I think he's got the full package to be an NFL QB. Also he had one camp already which is a leg up on Young. That camp included a WCO installation, the Green Bay flavor variation but he goes into camp speaking the WCO language which is a significant advantage over Young. Also he is bigger than Young. Has a better arm than Young. And in his own right has leadership skills that translate well just like Young has.

Chalk it up and a great camp battle is likely. IMO.

My crazy camp prediction is that McVay plays his vets more and gives the OL and Stafford more time together.

That would be welcome. Would like to see that come true.

My crazy camp/season prediction? Rochell and BB3 ball out and become solid starters.

You need to. Not much but it’s necessary. Pre Seasonis a step above practice got to test and evaluate the different variables…

I wish that was the case, but I think he plays it safe and minimizes Preseason game exposure.

He claims to get more out of joint practices. I’d like to see a gelled Oline by the first game.

dint think that'll happen. There are a lot of 1st or 2nd year players that are going to need more reps.

I predict the starting OL coming out of camp will be:
Jackson, LT
Avila, LG
Allen, C
Shelton, RG
Havs, RT

How about the first 3 draft picks will earn starting roles in camp.
Avila
Young
Turner (the Conductor)

Lets hope so. Game One showed rusty/unready our team was when we got steam rolled by the Bills.

You hit it. My crazy prediction was Alaric Jackson starts at LT over a healthy Noteboom.

At what point does that come into play with Sean Mcvay? Now that the preseason has less games would seem like it would be harder to have him change.

IMO it cost The Rams making the playoffs in 2019. Then again ? Couldn’t believe he didn’t play Brian Allen or Noteboom a down in the preseason with ZERO NFL experience( 1 series each). I think since Rams they both have only played in the preseason Since 2018.
