Apparently, there was a crane crash at the new LA Stadium build site. Not much else out there about it...

I thought the Cowboys were meant to be at the Coliseum not the new stadium?

I see some bent steel. I wonder how long this will set it all back. Hope all OK.
The operator, his fault. Been around that and it can get very scary.
A crane operator pulled the boom back on a very large crane I was working around. There is a "crackhead" ball on the single line side. Not the main lifting multi cable side. The headache ball was only about 6 feet down and he shound have let that cable out as he boomed up. Well it snapped the single cable and the 400lb ball landed 15' from where myself and 2 other guys were standing.
Operator was fired on the spot.

Hope that does not delay the completion of the stadium on time for the opening in 2020.

Stan’s must have Insurance on these types of accidents. Or is the cost coming out of the stadium contractor?

Chargers probably had something to do with it!

They probably have to start over now. I wonder where the next stadium will be.

.

man, now they have to bring in another huge crane. how long did it take them to build this one on site?

.

That doesnt look like just a crane. That looks like Big Red. The HUGE crane they had to truck in, in pieces and assemble on site.
