What a hack. He said Sean McVay's offense is based upon a power run attack. WTF the Rams don't run a power run attack, that's what the Niners run with their FB. Power requires a lead blocker, and having Woods block his CB isn't a lead blocker. The Rams to date have simply run a zone run attack, outside and inside as their primary blocking scheme.

He also ignores that Henderson's production last year was better overall than Akers. Cam was simply Sean's favorite nothing more. Henderson had one less yard on fewer carries, and more TDs than Akers.

Sorry Coward do your fucking homework before you show your ignorance.

It's funny everyone else in football is starting to understand, or fully understands, that individuals running backs can only have so much value. Meanwhile you have Cowherd and his script writers.

Anyway, Rams behind Seattle, Indianapolis and Cleveland is silly but it's nothing to worry about. With Cowherd, we beat the Bears and we will somehow be number 2.

Cowherd is correct about the run game even though he got his wires crossed on the details. IMO Akers was the kind of hit that might knock the Rams out of the top contender group. We're not nearly as well off now depending on the depth.

Cowherd praises the Rams? RoD gushes about how smart he is!
Cowherd less than glowing about the Rams and even makes a minor mistake? RoD talks about how big of an idiot!

Usually those events are only a couple days apart.

You have to keep in mind @oldnotdead that Cowherd is in the LA market and lays low on the Rams so he doesn't get labeled by NFL fans not on the West Coast as a homer.

Prior to his top 10 today, he recently had the Rams as the #2 ranked team in the NFC behind the Bucs.

He's one of the smarter NFL media people. Not perfect and directs some of his insight to the majority of his following that supports him.

Colin probably has the Rams realistically rated in his top 5 or 6 after the Akers loss.

He knows what works best for his brand based on all of the NFL markets that tune in to his show.

He's one of the best in his field that covers year around NFL news.

He's a bigger Rams fan than he lets on to be but plays it off well.

Wait until you see his final top 10 right before the 2021 season begins. He still might have them 3 spots lower than he really believes they are, but he knows what he's doing for the sake of ratings from a west coast sports show.

This is for entertainment purposes only right?

It's a long way till the first week of the season let alone the last few weeks of the season.

It shows that there are a lot of solid teams contending for the SB. Have the Hags really done enough to improve the crap offensive line they had last year?

They haven't fixed the DB spot either. Adams is trap in coverage. Reed is their best corner.

I like Colin, but like everyone else, he pivots quickly although is one of the few that will admit when he's wrong, which in today's society is refreshing because some like to point the finger elsewhere instead of looking in the mirror.
