I started this thread two weeks ago and have already seen a slight change in attitude, I suspect we'll see more of this in the next 2 weeks. It may not be all that long before someone we know becomes personally affected or is self-quaranteeing. Stay well ...
About that testing.
A co worker (30ish) returned from a cruise last week with a fever.
The company told the co worker to contact their doctor. Went to
hospital to be checked. Got checked out and asked if they were going to test for the virus.
Nope. Test were reserved for people with Pneumonia.
Back to work for them.

Yes, but those who have prepared won't be those who are in a panic.
The media is informing people. And doing a good job of it IMO. I know what is going on with this potential giant mess.
If they weren't doing that people would have less of an understanding and less knowledge about what is happening. Less knowledge abot testing which is now being done all over and in many cases for free.
It's dumbass Americans causing the frenzy. And sadly our nation is FILLED with dumbfucks.

This is not true. Just not true.
All a Dr. has to do right now is agree to giving the test and it happens.
The issue is going to be handling the volume of potential tests.
Though I agree my nation should have better healthcare, but the system has been fucked for many many years and insurance/drug companies/bought politicians/lobbyists and other layers of shit have hurt it.
But I betr when this chapter closes the US will be a champion not only for protecting itself in the end but also other countries that like the USA fucked around and dragged their feet.
And may have infected many, many others because the world did a shit job of tamping this down.
Especially here in the USA.
