Loved Mark Jerue a demon on special teams plus solid ILB, but had a bad wheel.

One That Madame Georgia would not pay in Bob Brudzinski.

"Nice to meet you, young lady. Now if you'll excuse us, all minors will need to exit the premises. We are about to film a promotional video. Only grownups allowed on the set."

One of the great things about this thread is Googling players who were before your time (I started following the Rams in 1985) or minor players who you have either forgotten about or never knew existed. Muadianvita Kazadi is a perfect example of the latter: 12 appearances as a back-up linebacker in 1997. Game Pass didn't exist back then, so I had never heard of him.

I recall most back through the 70’s. I collected football cards as a kid then. I remember most of the 80’s players too. I was in high school and college then.

During the 90’s I was working 7 days a week, as my landscaping business was in full swing back then…….plus the Rams totally sucked in the 90’s. So that explains why I don’t remember Kazadi. Thanks.

I have already said this once in another thread but it bears repeating.

We lost 99 games in 1990 - 1999.

The only reason we didn't lose more than 100 is due to GSOT who went 13-3 in 1999.

We would have probably had the worst 10 year record of all time if not for that year.

Then we had the worst 5 year record of all time from 2007 - 2011 until Cleveland broke it a few years later.

Didn’t Cincinnati have a worse record in the 90’s?

As I recall ... and I can be very forgetful ... the Rams had the worst record in the decade heading into 1999 but after finishing 1999 with a 13-3 record, it was the Bengals that had the worst record for the 1990s.

A lot of casual fans know this multi time All Pro for the footage of him getting trucked by the great Earl Campbell but what they don't know is that the LA RAMS later knocked Campbell out of that 10-6 September 1978 victory for Los Angeles over the Oilers in the Astrodome after he had gained only 77 rushing yards.

I prefer to remember the late Isaiah Robertson for his late-game 59-yard interception and return for a TD to seal a 19-10 playoff-win over George Allen's Redskins in 1974. The Rams first playoff victory in 23 years ... 23!

Now if you could only get the NFL Network to show that as frequently as they do the Campbell clip. But considering the spectacularly winding nature of the return, that probably won't fly.

And ... while Robertson and Phifer were the Rams' two best #58 LBs, an honorable mention should go to ...
Mel Owens ... the expected 2025 Golden Bachelor ...

FYI ... @Loyal was one of the finalists for this season's Golden Bachelor. Just too damn handsome.

i was at that playoff win by the rams over the redskins..

go rams

My memory (14 year-old, watching it on a black-and-white-TV) is that the game was very physical and hard-hitting. Common for that time period but even more so than usual. Two veteran O-Lines and D-Lines just pounding the crap out of each other. Jurgensen coming-in late scared the hell out of me but he threw multiple interceptions.

Problem with James Harris was, he never had a good playoff game. His best game was against the Vikings that year and that was checkered at best. He was not good against Washington and in 1975, when he got his chance against Dallas was awful before being pulled.

Now granted that was a combination of many things, but I remember him struggling against Washington as George Allen could still coach defense. Fortunately, Sonny Jurgensen served up the interception to Isiah Robertson after being hit by Merlin Olsen that clinched the Rams fist post season victory since 1951.
