From the mid-1960’s through the late-1980’s … almost a quarter of a century … the Rams continuity along the O-Line was ridiculous.

Even for the period (no free agency and players often remained with one team), the Rams OL was unique for its stability, continuity and quality.

One example. Three starting Centers for 25 years. By comparison, in his very successful 9 years as Rams Head Coach, there have been five starting Centers.

Rich Saul was the best and he had to wait with Ken Iman being the starter. Saul was great on special teams too. Here are some other donning that number.

A solid backup Center and Guard Tony Slaton.

Another very good Center Bern Brostek.

Spent entire twelve-year career (1970 -1981) as an LA RAM and should be in the Pro Football HOF. Backed up every OL position and was a special teams standout for five years before Ken Iman retired and he was a Pro Bowl center the last six years of his career and second team All Pro once.
Seriously?
I thought he WAS in the HOF.
What a travesty!

Thirteen years in the league, every one of them wearing the uniform of the LOS ANGELES RAMS. Another interior OL with a strong case for the Pro Football HOF.

Dennis Harrah also known as Herc Harrah, was one of the best. That being posted some others that have donned #60.

Apologies Den , but Am I correct in thinking that this is Mr Dave.

Regardless of picture. Dave came up with the absolute
perfect way to countdown days until Football.

I know he has passed , But I still wanted to say
Thank You Dave for your service. My mind couldn't begin
to imagine the hell you guys went through.

It is Dave and even though I did serve too, I echo your sentiments. Those boys in Vietnam went to hell & back while also having to deal with disdain when they returned home.

In the 1977 draft, the RAMS selected Nolan Cromwell, Billy Waddy, Wendell Tyler and Vince Ferragamo but they were all chosen after this 1st rounder.

Loved Mark Jerue a demon on special teams plus solid ILB, but had a bad wheel.

One That Madame Georgia would not pay in Bob Brudzinski.

Couldn't agree more Coach. It broke my heart to see London go.

He was one those carry the lunch pail and go to work guys

Who would then proceed to collect his double digit tackles, among other
positive plays

Still to this day one of all time favorite Rams!
