Today I'll start with QB Steve Walsh: (1996)

3 starts w/a record of 1-2-0, He completed 33 of 77 for 344 Yds. w/Zero TD's and 5 Int's a long of 32 and a comp % of 42.9. he was Sacked 4 times and had a QB rating of " 29.4!" ....

... " How the Hell he ever Won a game is beyond me!"


NEXT UP, Punter John Baker: (2000-01)

GSOT Era! In 31 games he had 86 Ounts for 3545 Yds. w/a long of 59 Yds. and only 1 blocked. w/an aver. of 41.2.


NEXT UP, QB Scott Covington: (2002)

This is the only photo I could find of him ..SORRY!

Only 1 start but his record is 1-0-0! He completed 2 of 5 passes for 7 Yds. w/Zero TD's and Zero Int's a long of 4 Yds. a comp % of 40.0and he was sacked 2 times. He had a QB rating of 47.9. " BUT He Won!"


NEXT UP, QB A.J. Feeley: (2011)

In 5 games he had 3 starts and a Record of 1-2-0

Passing he was 53 of 97 for 548 Yds. and 1 TD w/2 Int's a long of 34 Yds. and a comp % of 54.6

He was Sacked 10 times and had a QB rating of 66.0

He wasn't Bad, for a Back-Up!

Considering he Backed up Bradford it's suprising he didn't start More.

OH! "He had a Great Looking girl friend too!!"


My Last man today, and the best of the group. Kicker Greg Zuerlein: (2012-present)

"Greg the Leg!"

I expect a lot from him this year, Just my gut Talking to me!

In 48 games he's made 73 of 89 FG's ( 82.0%) and ...

.. He's made 94 of 95 XP's (98.9%) for a total of 313 points.

I think he kicks one for the Record Books this Year!

I remember that Saints game Feeley won, was a great weekend, Cardinals had just won the World Series, then we knocked off the mighty Saints for our first win of the season. Of course if we'd lost we could have traded Bradford 3 years early, and he sat here with Andrew Luck as our starting QB coming off a playoff season and favourites to win the NFC West for the 2nd straight year funny how life works out.

That stat says it all about the GSOT!!

Last year, Hekker punted 80 times in 16 games!

The only thing I can come up with Now is a Up-Date:
* Kicker - Greg 'The Leg' Zuerlein - 2012-Present

Our 2012 6th Round pick, #171 overall needs his stats updated after last year!

He has now played in 62 games, going into his 5th and contract year!
Another fine pick by Snisher!!

He now has 119 FGA's w/ 93 FRM's/ 78.2%/ w/ a long of 61 Yds. and he has 123 XPA's w/ 122 XPM's/ 97.6%. ( he's made 16 of 31 FGA's from 50+ Yds.)

I just had to throw this one^ in for two Reasons:
1) It show a 49er in his proper position "On-The-Ground"!
2) " It's 49er week, we're getting ready to play them the 1st game of the Season!!"

Anyone have anything else to add to this Thread!?

One thing Les and Fisher did well in '12 was put together our franchises' best punter/kicker combination in team history.

Legatron is truly a great kicker, and aside from one inconsistent year, has been Mr. reliable.

I could see this combination staying together for a decade, or more.
