Definitely some names you'll remember today!
Starting with FB - Dick Hoerner: (1947-51)

In his 5 seasons with the Rams he rushed 450 times for 2010 Yds. and 28 TD's an aver. of 4.5 .
And he had 70 receptions for 1008 Yds. and 4 TD's an aver. of 14.4!

In 1948 his rush aver. was 4.7 and in 1951 an amazing 6.1 per rush!

He played I 4 Playoff games where he had a total of 3 TD's, and he went to the Pro Bowl in 1950

This is him busting through the Line in Cleveland in 1950!

Next up (we had to go through 40+ years to find a Player worth note!) RB Amp Lee: (1997-99)

1 rush for 1 Yard in the Playoff's!

He was better than his stats show!


Next FS - Adam Archuleta: (2001-05)

3 Int's for 109 Yds. and 1 TD. and 5 FR's for 162 Yds. and 2 TD's
I thought he was better than he turned out! So did he! we where both wrong!


Next Man up, CB Justin King: (2009-11)

1 Int. and 1 sack in 2011 that sums-up what he gave us!


Next, A man who had his moments!! CB Cortland Finnegan: (2012-13)

He was brought in to give the Back field some spark and he did!

4 Int's 69 Yds. 1 TD, and 128 Tackles!

Fisher liked him and so did I! Then he Fizzled out!


And now we have the New kid in town, SS Mo Alexander: (2014-present)

We shall see what we will see!

Went on to play for the Bears for seven more season.

Jeff Jordan RB 1970
At least we got a great picture out of him!

Steve Israel DB 1992-94
I remember him...being not that good.

Jason Craft DB 2008
Picked him up in his last season in the NFL. Pretty good player just
a little late in his career.

Al Harris DB 2011
Yeah that Al Harris...again his last year in the NFL. Great player in his prime!

The end of a great career...

It was " The Pose!" back in the Old Days Everyone did it!! Everyone wanted to look like they were the 'Heisman Trophy'! It was considered VERY COOL back then!!

* RB Brent Moss -1995

The Jersey will have to do, can't find any photos of him!
In his 1 season as a Ram he only played in 4 games but he had 22 Rushes for 90 Yds. w/ a long of 18 Yds. and a 4.1 aver.

There are two other Players I really want to post But I really need help finding their Photos!!!
* DB - Sid Justin - 1979 and * FB/QB/LB - Jack Myers - 1952! HELP!!

He played 5 seasons for us and in 52 games he had 450 rushes for 2010 Yds./28 TD's/ a long of 64 Yds./ and a 4.5 aver./ he also had 70 rec's for 1008 Yds./a 14.4 aver./4 TD's and a long of 48 Yds./ he had 20 Fumbles/ and 4 FR's for 14 Yds./1 PR for 6 Yds./and 3 KR's for 57Yds.w/ a long of 22 YD's and a 19.0 aver. he also had 1 Punt for 43 Yds./ In 4 Post season games he had 43 rushes for 119 Yds./3 TD's/ a long of 24 Yds. and a 2.8 aver./ he also had 3 Rec's for 41 Yds. / a 13.7 aver. w/ a long of 19 Yds. for two seasons he was in the Top 10 in rushing Yds. in the League and for Four seasons he was In the Top 10 in Rushing TD's. He went to the Pro Bowl in1950.

* RB - Amp Lee - 1997-1999

He Played 3 seasons with us and in 37 games he had 75 rushes for 282 Yds./ 2 TD's/ and a long of 38 Yds. w/ a 3.8 aver. He also had 181 Targets w/ 128 Rec's for 1514 Yds./ a 11.8 aver./ 6 TD's/ and a long of 62 Yds. and 3 Fumbles. plus 4 KR's for 71 Yds. w/ a long of 19 Yds. and a 17.8 aver. and 1 FR.

* FS - Adam Archuleta - 2001-2005

He was a 1st Round Draft pick #20 overall. In his 5 seasons and 72 games he had 3 Int's for 109 Yds. and 1 TD. w/ a long of 85 Yds./ 22 Passes defended / 3 FF's/ 2 Fumbles / 5 FR's for 162 Yds. and 2 TD's / and 15 sacks w/ 349 TKL's and 60 Assists.

* CB - Justin King - 2009-2011

he was a 4th round Draft pick #101 overall in 2008. In 3 seasons he play in 35 games and had 1 Int. for 51 Yds./ 9 PD's/ 1 FF/ 1 FR/ 1 sack and 96 TKL's w/ 14 Assists.

* CB - Cortland Finnegan - 2012-2013

" I liked his stile!" In his 2 season and 23 games w/ the Rams he had 4 Int's for 69 Yds. and 1 TD./ a long of 32 Yds./ 10 PD's/ 1 FF/ 1 Sack/ 106 TKL's and 22 Assists. ( He was a 7th round draft pick by Fisher when he was with the Titan's. # 215 overall.

* SS - Mo Alexander - 2014-Present

A 4th Round Draft pick #110. He's just getting started!
In 2 seasons he had 23 games/1 PD/ 1 FR for 3 Yds./ 2 sacks/ 31 TKL's and 7 Assists

* LB - Larry Morris - 1955-1957

He was a 1st Round Draft pick by the Rams # 7 overall in 1955. In his 3 seasons he played 25 games and had 40 rushes for 148 Yds. and 1 TD/ a long of 22 Yds./ and a 3.7 aver./ On "D" he had 1 Int and 2 FR's for 6 Yds. / In 1 Post season game he had 1 Int for 22 Yds.

* RB - Jeff Jordan- 1970

In his 1 season he played in 9 games and had 10 Rushes for 50 Yds. w/ a long of 10 Yds./ a 5.0 aver.

* DB - Steve Israel - 1992-1994

He was a 2nd Round Pick # 30 overall. In his 3 seasons he played 42 games and had 15 starts. he had 1 FR/ and 6 KR's for 89 Yds. w/ a long of 23 Yds. a 14.8 aver.

* DB - Jason Craft - 2008

He gave us I season / 13 games / 1 Int for 16 Yds. / 6 PD's/ and 2 FF's/3 FR's/ 3 sacks and 57 TKL's w/ 4 Assists.

* DB - Al Harris -2011

In his single season as a Ram he had 7 PD's/ 1 FR for 3 Yds. and 12 TKL's w/ 3 Assists. in 9 games.

I really liked what Amp Lee brought to that team. He was the precursor to Marshall doing some of the same things, obviously not at the same level. He was a good 3rd down Back and really good receiver but not near the pure runner of Marshall.

Thanks for the kind words @Farr Be It . I think it’s great that you’re bringing back these threads to honor Dave. This season so far has left me with a void, just not the same right now. It’s amazing that someone I only knew of through ROD could leave me with this empty feeling. It just goes to show what type of man he was. I hope the RAMS can honor Dave’s fandom with a great season, playoff run, and even more.
