Today we will start with the Best 'Back-up' (later starting) QB we ever had! At #25 QB - Norn Van Brocklin: (1949-57)
{ He switched to #11 after he began starting in 1952}

He Played for us 9 seasons, And No he was not the starting QB on the 1951 Championship team. although he did start one game in the playoff's that year!

He racked-up some great stats with us!

He had a record of 42 Wins-20Loses-3Ties and he completed 1011 of 1897 passes for 16114 Yds./118 TD's/w/127 Int's.

He played in 6 Playoff games his record is 1 win/2 Loses in them. He was 35 of 75 for 532 Yds. and #TD's in them. with 7 Int's.

He also rushed for 8 TD's! and as a Punter for us he had a Record of 167 for 7073 Yds. w/a long of 70 Yds. and only had 2 Blocked!

Next up Safety Don Burroughs: (1955-59)

I wanted to include him because of his time with the team!

In 5 seasons he had 21 Int's for 236 Yards.


Next up, a player you'll remember, one way or another{you'll see what I mean in a second!} WR/RB Bernie Casey: (1967-68)
He came over from the 49ers!

He had 82 receptions for 1436 Yards and 13 TD's a 17.5 aver.! NOT too shabby for a former 9er!

He also played in 1 playoff game and had 5 rec. for 82 Yds. and 1 TD, an aver. of 16.4!

I didn't think that anyone would remember him, until Heisnberg popped up with Him!

Next man up, RB Robert Holcomb:(1998-2001)

Jerry Gray should be coaching with us....TJ Mac is a baller!!!!! Robert Holcombe got bigger every year...I mean, I think I could point out this guy as the only possible roid user....

He was a 4th Round pick by the Rams in 1949. and he went into the Hall of Fame in 1971.
In his 104 games w/ 65 Starts his Passing comp. rate was 53.3% and his longest pass went for 84 Yds. / His QB rating, in the regular season was 74.7/ he Rushed 72 times for 35 Yds. w/ a long of 16 Yds. / he had 31 Fumbles and 9 FR's.
In his 6 games in the Playoff's w/ the Rams, his Pass comp. was 49.3% / his longest pass was for 73 Yds. and his QB Rating was 41.2!
( Remember, this stats are in addition to his stats mentioned above.)

In his 5 seasons and 58 games his longest Int was for 46 Yds. and he had 1 Fumble/ 7 FR's and 2 PR's for a total of 11 Yds./ in his 1 Post Season game he had 1 Int. for 24 Yards.

In his 2 seasons and 26 games his receiving average was 17.5 YPR/ his longest Rec. was for 57 Yds. and he had 2 FR's./ In the Playoff's his longest Rec. was for 29 Yds.
" I have to Chuckle, he spent his 6 Seasons before the Rams w/ The 49ers, and NEVER went to the post season. He had to come to the Rams to make it!!"

* Robert Holcomb - 1998-2001

In his 4 seasons and 58 games his longest Rush was for 34 Yds. and he had a 3.0 aver. w/ 5 Fumbles and 12 TKL's. In his 7 Post Season games he had 3 Rushes for 15 Yds. w/ a long of 11Yds./ a 5.0 aver. and 6 TGT's w/ 4 Rec's for 18 Yds./ a 4.5 aver.

NEXT:
* CB - Jerry Gray - 1985-1991

He was a 1st Round Pick # 21 overall. not too much to add in addition to what has already been stated, His longest Int. in regular season was for 59 Yds./ in post season he totaled 1 Int. for 10 Yds. and 3 FR's.

Lastly:
* FS - T.J. McDonald - 2013-Present

He was a 3rd Round pick #71 overall in 2013 that, I think, Realy paid off!
In his 37 games he's had 2 Int's for 18 Yds./ a long of 20 Yds./ 12 PD's/ 1 FF/ 2 FR's for 3 Yds./ 4 sacks/ 166 TKL's and 53 Assists.

One of the underplayed stories of this years camp with the Rams is the presence of 23 year-old twin brothers Nate and Nick Holley. While Running Back Nick (#25) seems to be fighting an uphill battle to make this roster with Gurley, Brown, Kelly and Davis seemingly well ahead on the depth chart, he has a couple more games to make an impact.

As for number 25. How the hell are you guys forgetting Mike Furrey!!!! Played WR and Safety for us. He now coaches the bears WR's.
