Here's a recent article on profitability of the major sports leagues.

Figured it'd be interesting to list their projected salary caps for 2020 vs their revenue from the above link:

NFL $198M ($13B revenue)
MLB $208M ($10B revenue)
NBA $115M ($7.4B revenue)
NHL $79M ($4.4B revenue)

When you consider the ease of building a smaller home for the NBA and NHL teams vice what the NFL and MLB require... I do believe if I were a rich person I'd steer clear of the NFL and MLB. In fact I'd buy an NHL team.

I love Hockey and the NHL.
Also the best sport to watch in person live. All others I prefer the comforts of home and my couch

Only if the owners are greedy and the players are stupid.

When you're hording more money than the rest of us, you shouldn't be looking to us to cut our pay, owners should cut their own.
I think its safe to say the owners are currently taking a significant hair cut with no games being played.
I find it completely justified for pay cuts in sports that have reduction in games, but find the NFL a slippery slope as they are commiting to a full season.
On the other hand, if the salary cap is reduced, and the players dont accept a paycut, that will be very unfortunate for the bottom 1/3rd to 1/2 of players as teams will be forced to offer mere veteran minimum salary

I dunno.... I've seen some pretty epic Rams games live, including SB 34, and the 2018 Chiefs and Vikings games. I prefer live football over TV football ALL day long!

Well, In my defense, I can’t stand people lol. So being at home is nirvana to me. Crowds - not exactly my cup of tea.

That will be a big problem for a solid number of teams if it happens.
