Could signing CB/S Kenny Moore be the finishing piece on the Defense?

Solid vet whom could come in and be the Star and allow Q to float around more. Gives us the sneaky depth piece for the backend. mcDuffie, Lake and adding Moore all 3 can play inside or outside and letting Shula cook in his dime packages.
Thoughts Ramily?

I like the idea of adding veterans at corner and wide receiver to supplement our draft choices. Not sure Moore is that guy from what I understand about his positioning - he is more of a slot corner, and we need more depth on the boundaries.

Doesn't mean he'd be a bad pickup, but Sneed might be a better fit.

Sneed from all reports has fallen hard and the word is he brutally bad the last 1-2 years. Im afraid he a bust now and only a so called name guy. He's sound like an okay #4 type guy now.

2026 Rams Safety unit is well endowed currently.

Curl
Lake
Kinchens
McCollough
Ingle
Valcarcel
Anderson

Rams have FOUR very good safeties who have mega NFL games & starts under their belts. The rookie UDFA Anderson does not look like "Just a Camp Body" either.

No issues with adding a veteran press CB as a #5 in our CB room but it's certainly not high on any priority. Rams minus'd 5 veteran corners just a few months ago.

Where would Lake float to? Moore would be duplicative at star. But I'm generally not opposed to inexpensive depth.

I would love it! Small school kid who made the most of his chance. He’s a really good guy too. He always holds a kids camp here. He played high school and college here in Valdosta, Ga.

Lake plays the deep Safety full time, Moore plays nickel.
Yes, we also need a true backup Boundary corner still

Last year, Lake was moved to Star full time. Kinchens played the deep safety. Lake / Curl / Kinchens started the majority of games.

I must of had it wrong.....my old well seasoned brain's recall was when safeties Quentin Lake & Kamren Curl began the season as the starting 2 safeties on the field. When a additional DB was called on by D cord. Safety Kamren Kinchens would usually take Lake's safety position, Lake would do the star special. Safety Curl never left the field.

In mid November safety Quentin Lake went down. Rams were already in trouble with injuries @ Corner Witherspoon did not make it one week into the season & placed on IR & Darious Williams was nicked up all season. Rams were forced to trade for CB McCreary & call in Kendrick from the WW streets. I was under the strong opinion that it was 2nd yr 6 ft 210 Safety Jalen McCollough came onto the field as the 3rd safety duties in place of Quentin Lake until his return.

What did I get wrong?

It was Josh Wallace that filled in for Lake.
