What, getting our asses handed to us twice a year isn’t enough, we need to get the “first night in prison” treatment as well???

No thanks… bad enough I gotta keep getting these damn colonos copies…
Yep. It's gonna be called the "Deebo/McCaffrey Especial".

Personally, I would at least look into trading for this guy, along with possibly signing Eric Fisher, which could take care of two massively important positions long-term while boosting our SB chances. As I said elsewhere, would Fisher be open to playing Guard? It would extend his career and I don't doubt he would be a pro bowl type player in our scheme if he can stay healthy, which I don't see why not.

"The Panthers have exercised their fifth-year option on Burns’ rookie deal. His base salary in 2022 is $2.3 million — so for the remainder of the season, his Kansas City cap hit would only be about $1.3 million. In 2023, his cap hit would be $16 million — which is pennies for an edge rusher. Just as they did with Orlando Brown Jr., the Chiefs would likely need to let Burns play on his rookie deal and then work to extend his contract in the offseason. But even if they don’t end up getting a deal done, $16 million is a very good price point for him — and in 2024, the franchise tag would still be an option"

"Implicated" is kind of an odd choice of words there.

I just think of that word in a different context. I don't know. Something like ...
@Loyal has been IMPLICATED in numerous Indecent Exposure incidents.
Some great coach out there has said.....sometimes you just gotta air it out

My nuts aren't tingling quite strongly yet, but they do tingle just a bit when CMC is mentioned. Think that's why we are being implicated hahaha

IMO Burns >> CMC (Especially long term). But if the Rams could bolster the IOL a bit more CMC could push the offense in the right direction (short term).

Honestly I like Burns and would love to have him on our team, but more worried what Carolina would ask for him. They know he's younger and less injury prone than CMC so they will definitely ask for a lot. More I think about it, targeting a losing team for someone like Bradley Chubb seems to be a realistic target especially if we are still trying to add more like IOL or OBJ. Think the Rams won't push much for a huge interior OL move as I can see them relying on injured players coming back. Kinda risky to do that but we don't have a lot of draft capital or cap room to make a lot of moves.

I'll go with #4 on this list.

D'Ernest Johnson would be my #1 choice too.

Honestly I’d go Hunt/D’Earnest and pick up Oli Udoh in the bargain bin.

We need to do some restocking of young cheap talent and save our picks.

Those guys would cost a minimal pick.
