It would be nice to have a burner at WR, but Woods, Kupp, and Jefferson are all fast enough to take shots down field with to keep defenses honest. The problem to me is clearly the offensive line. It can't hold up in pass protection. We do okay on play action passes, but on clear passing downs we get destroyed. So of course we aren't calling passing plays down field that require time to developed. Fix the o-line first. Everything flows from that. We just spent a 2nd rounder on Van Jefferson despite having limited draft capital, and signed Kupp and Woods to extensions. A late-mid-to-late round pick or low money free agent signing to bring in a downfield specialist? Sure. But we have other needs and shouldn't be dumping more prime resources into the WR position.
