Wild that a team like NE isn't interested in sending a pick to us for a WR that they desperately need. Can't tell me that Kupp wouldn't immediately improve that WR room by a lot. They have plenty of cap space as well.
Why send a pick? They have more money than god this year. They can just outpay the market for him (and it will still be less than what he's making now).

But also, maybe teams are seeing what fans here aren't, Kupp really is near the end and isn't gonna be worth much more than a 1 year deal to be a 3rd option on a team and maybe not even worth that over some other FA WR signings.

There’s some other players with intrigue on that list. Dynami Brown, Westbrook Ikhine, and Keenan Allen (injury history) may be options. I don’t think Brown and WI had opportunities to really show out. These may be a Bobby Trees type signing.

Davante Adams is possible as long as he realizes he’s not the young man he once was and adopts the we not me attitude.
Of that group I like Mack Hollins the best. Besides, his barefoot routine works so much better in LA than it ever could in Buffalo.

Injury prone, declining and expensive.

Listen to the Sean McVay "Pardon the Interruption" video that got posted today. McVay makes very clear that Kupp is not coming back.

I think the Show is called Pardon My Take but I agree. The Rams, McVay and Snead have been pretty clear that Kupp will not be a Ram.

I don't agree with it because I don't understand the thinking but IT IS going to happen.

True, but why would Kupp go to the Pats of all the suitors he may have as a FA? Pats aren't exactly a destination team. Trading at least gets him in the building.

I think the answer a lot of people here don't want to hear is that what he put on tape the 2nd half of this season wasn't great so it's not worth getting him in the building in the first place unless it's super cheap.

Because you'll be paying him anywhere from 15-20 mill in '25 and 20 mill in '26 (non guaranteed)
OR
Wait until he's cut and get him on a 1 year prove it deal for say....... 10.1 mill?

And Dweebo is a 1 year deal with $5 million cap hit followed by a $12 dead cap hit for void years in 2026.

Not really understanding the Deebo deal, why would Washington take the cap hit for the $$ he received from the 9ers?
I believe San Fran takes the hit and the Skins only pay 5 mill
EDIT- nevermind. Was looking spotrac, seems like OTC has it correct

OTC and Spotrac currently have different 2025 Dead-$ for the Rams on the Jonah Jackson deal.
Don't know which one is correct.

No team is going to give up a pick for Kupp when they can see that the Rams are going to cut him if they cant trade him. Once cut Kupp can choose where he goes and can go for the $, or pick a team he thinks can win it all. Its hard to believe that there is almost no chance of Kupp wearing the horns again.

If we cut him, I guarantee he ends up a Seahawk.
If I were him I would take less and go to KC and play on grass with a great QB where you don't have to be the focal point on a top contender.

Seattle would be able to pay him, plus they will need WR help after trading Metcalf, he's from the Pacific Northwest and he seems like he would want to come at the Rams with that tweet.
