Lol

When it rains, it pours

The Rams have been relatively lucky with injuries and Covid. Unfortunately both are part of the game this year. All I hope for is that the Rams go out with fire in their belly and play their asses off on Sunday so they can look in the mirror with pride. Let everything else go that is out of their control.

Looks like Van will be getting plenty of PT. What a shitty week.

Well, he MIGHT. I think the period from positive test to being cleared has been reduced to 10 days, so he MIGHT be able to play, but he'll have just had COVID, so unless his symptoms are SUPER minor or non-existent, his fatigue levels will be an issue even if he's cleared to play.

At best, they'd have him on a snap count, but honestly I wouldn't expect him to play in two weeks IF we make it into the playoffs.

that makes no sense to me... how is the rest of the team and the seahawks not on "close contact" list if he tested positive?

like ive seen entire position groups out - jsut because they were around people.

The nfls protocols are comedy.

I'm assuming he made contact with someone after the game who has it? And he got tested before participating in any team activity?

And that's exactly how it happened, your Honor....

thats a very small window - seems unlikely, but for the sake of the entire team being out lets hope its something like that....

You have to be fucking kidding me at this point. What the fuck.

Love it . It is what it is. It’s been a crazy year no doubt.

I can say I’m upset about a bunch of things, but to me as a long time Rams fan is the development of players.

This Wolford gets a chance to start. You look at the 9ers & there injuries. The Rams really need to step up this Sunday.3-3 in the NFC West in 2020 is not asking a lot.2021 will be that much tougher.

RAMsey came over to Goff after his last series & basically said to keep his head up,because the D” had his back.I liked the Leadership, but the results was not to be inspiring.

My point being this Rams Organization is built to last.

Please tell me you meant for this to be a blue font post.
Nope. I was playing poker odds assuming Packers were heavier favorites (e.g., 4-1). Latest odds have Packers are 2-1 favorites (so the math doesn't work even though the Cards are favored to beat us by 55% even if we play all starters).

Under current odds, we are at least 66% likely to advance if we sit everyone vs 82% likely to advance if we play everyone. So we should play everyone (unless Cards become heavy favorites). If the Packers were 4-1 favorites (my original assumption) the odds would have been at least 80% if we sit starters and 89% if they play. Under those odds it's worth considering as every other team we might face in the first round will be playing all their starters this week.

It's a Belichickian sort of maneuver. "Brilliant" if it works, "moronic" if it fails.

A lot of people who test positive are Asymptomatic

Here's to hoping

Well, the positive is Van will be on full display along with Wolford. Who knows, we might have found a diamond in the rough. A minimum, he will keep the linebackers honest with his running ability. Unlike Goff, he can actually get outside the pocket and gain yards.

This season turned from potential NFC Favorite a few weeks ago to absolute shit shit show fast. Unbelievable.
Our offensive line, which may have been overrated to begin with, lost Whitworth.
Injuries to our running backs didn't help the situation and then Goff fell apart.

They managed to make due without a true middle linebacker but they could not make due without a deep threat, a consistent running game via running backs and offensive lineman.
Then Goff's bootleg/ roll out game turned to crud due to lack of running game.

Equals shit show on offense.
