Rams signed OLB Connor Barwin, formerly of the Eagles, to a one-year contract.
Per ESPN's Adam Caplan, it's worth a maximum of $6.5 million. Barwin played defensive end in the Eagles' 4-3 defense last season, but has plenty of experience in 3-4s, including with new Rams DC Wade Phillips in Houston. Going on 31, Barwin has slowed a bit in recent years, but notched at least five sacks each of his four seasons in Philadelphia. He's a workout freak who stays in shape. He's a needed addition for a Rams pass rush lacking bodies.
