Oh man.......It was more personal with Sum1. His family had a business basically in the Dome with the Rams... so the move not only took his team, it ended his family's business. I may be a little off with that... but that's what I remember with my aging brain cells. Pretty sure I'm dead on with that basic description though. That had to be extremely difficult.
Sum1 actually came to my 1st tailgate in Tampon for ROD like in 2010. He was down here from The STL. He broke his arm the night before the game celebrating a Missouri Football win. I think he did a Buffalo Bill Mafia style wrestling move on his rental car's windshield. He came to the tailgate with his arm in a sling. LOL
He's a cool guy and has a great wit. We lost a great teammate when we lost him. At least we get a drive-by like this from him when the team does well. It let's me know he's still kicking.
Thanks for the back story G. If that would have happened to me and my family I could easily see how that would have made a difference for me. More than just a childhood memory for certain.
