It takes more than speed to be a punt returner.I know Tutu is absolutely not a kick returner.
Let's just imagine that all our draftees were moved up a pick and that Tutu was actually our last pick of the draft. I would be okay with the draft then lol.Lol.. it's funny because it's true.
I really try to look at draft classes, rather than players and where drafted. It's too easy to get hyper focused on "well they missed on the second rounder.. you can't do that!"
If we look at the entirety.. they have two starters from this year's class already, and that's not bad when you've got no first. It's likely to get better over the next few years with Bobby Brown eventually being a starter.
Garrett has potential and Skowronek looks like a real football player.
I'm with you here Philly. At this point a returner may impact this roster more than anything else.I would give up a late pick for Cordelle Patterson.
And you use DJax roster slot. Easy, easy.I'm with you here Philly. At this point a returner may impact this roster more than anything else.
I've taken to perusing the weekly photos on the Rams website after every game and gotta say they do a great job with it. This week has a ton of good ones. What a wholesome, satisfying photo. Happy for our dude.
With Reeders boneheaded move on yet another onside kick, his days may be numbered…..I'm so glad that E-Jo got to strut his stuff. I had a premonition about him being a JJ3 type: someone who isn't necessarily highly rated who becomes a late third round pick and dominates from the get-go.
I'm so much more comfortable with him than Reeder.
Yet another reason to be pissed at DJax and his selfish attitude, IMHO. Looks like DJax was about to have the opportunity to return punts (and he's got a fantastic track record there.)I'm with you here Philly. At this point a returner may impact this roster more than anything else.
The guy is not a WR but he's been a revelation for ATL as a RB. Don't see them parting with him for peanuts. Not sure we need him. but he could add juice in the RB room and as a returner.I would give up a late pick for Cordelle Patterson.
Would solve a few issues. KR, I think he has done punts as well....Emergency RB, jet sweep guy, and even a 4th WR or just a clear out guy to push the secondary a bit.
They're a fun browse and I wonder if more people have picked up doing what I do and watch the post game pressers live.I've taken to perusing the weekly photos on the Rams website after every game and gotta say they do a great job with it. This week has a ton of good ones.
And round two is pretty early for a possible 4th or 5th receiver. It already looks like Skowronek is ahead of him so that could mean TuTu is No.5I don't know.

In preseason, he sure looked like a WR.
Too early to make a complete judgement... but he wasn't a kick returner in college and it doesn't look like he's one in the NFL.
Yes a returner would be nice. The Rams lost two. And last year it seemed like a bandaid approach. The entire ST unit has been below average. They need an overhaul.I would give up a late pick for Cordelle Patterson.

Van was # 4 last year and Tutu is just a very different option. We’ll see how it works out.And round two is pretty early for a possible 4th or 5th receiver. It already looks like Skowronek is ahead of him so that could mean TuTu is No.5
If they planned on moving on from Woods contract this winter then they may need to rethink it.
