McVay is the best coach the Rams have ever had and its not close.
If he decides to keep going for the long haul he will set career numbers that will be hard for anyone to better with the Rams.

If Stafford plays another couple of years he would likely become the Rams all time career passing yardage leader as well.
He is about to pass Goff.

I just pray and hope he doesn't burn out or decide to go into the booth. Kroenke has deep pockets so I'm sure money won't be an issue with keeping McVay in LA. I want to experience a bunch more super bowl wins.

Ive played in enough bands to worry about McVay being ruined by having kids.
Haha.
But, he does seem sort of rejuvenated.
The job of coaching he did after the injury riddled, disastrous starts to 23 and 24 cant be over stated. One (or two) of the best jobs of coaching Ive seen with just the right amount of good luck.
McVay has seemed to rediscover being creative on offense again and it has improved his play calling over this last hot run.

I just believe if somehow the Rams can get the #1 seed, we will get to the super bowl. A bye week, then you play the lowest remaining seed to get to the NFC title game. The title game is at home. No playing in snow or bad conditions that could affect your passing game.

That's not to say we can't win without the #1 seed, but it will be a whole lot tougher.

I am also almost 66 ... also have seen them all since (and including) George Allen ... also have soft spots for those mentioned (and a couple not mentioned) ... AND, could not Agree More about Sean McVay.

By-the-Way, if that is a fairly recent photo of you in front of SoFi (with that lovely lady) ... then you are aging much better than me ... and ...

That's why it's so important to enjoy the journey. Can't know or control how long it will the last.

Ten years with one head coach is a long time. So many examples; and even many of the longer-term coaches had the majority of their success in 8-12 year windows, and then hung around.

Even the thought of having a 10 year coach during the absolute depths of misery in St. Louis was a dream that seemed completely impossible.

McVay used to frustrate the hell out of me..... I used to refer to him as "Scatter Brain McVay." But this season he has been absolutely remarkable.

1. He's finally using his TE's.
2. He doesn't forget about the run game.
3. He doesn't run those ridiculous flag football trick plays any more.
4. He actually makes in-game adjustments much more fluently.

I still have trouble listening to his post game speeches. It's like listening to a gas powered weed-whacker at 7AM.... I'm actually impressed that he keeps his in-game sideline interviews short... thank god.

Snead deserves a ton of credit too. What a tandem.
As much as that’s TRUE. Kevin DEMOFF is sort of the master mind of it all in way.He makes sure the internal parts of the Organization is doing well.
He has had his hand in it from the beginning of Snead & where The Rams have there practice field.
Getting The Rams back to LA wasn’t an easy task either.

He continues to help make the organization successful in the community. He is hands on when it’s called for.Finding his role & trusting in McSnead.
I’m sure he had a heart to heart with Mcvay a few years ago to make sure he still had the stomach for this.
The beauty is Sean Mcvay is coach for the Right Reasons. It reflects on how The Rams have structured the TEAM & Organization to continue WINNING!!

Besides Demoff being a tad colored blind, I have nothing against him. In all seriousness watching the game on Sunday the Rams uniforms do pop although being old school (sorry @OldSchool ) I prefer more mustard then yellow and I like the full horn, but watching the Rams live or in living color the uniforms look good IMO.

Vermeil's work ethic and humility, Martz's offensive brilliance, John Robinson's organization, Knox's approach to systemic balance, Malavesy's culture?

McVay tops each of them in their top skills. He's the total package and he's still operating with a growth mindset.

McVay is awesome and growing.. and I love that he just breaks the "sourpuss" coach mode and shows that you don't need to be a fake "tough guy" to lead men.
I also don't worry much about him leaving anytime soon.. he went through his personal crisis after the Super Bowl and learned a lot about himself. The biggest thing he learned, imo, is that he is, more than anything else... a coach. He grew to realize that the process, the teaching, the growing and the relationships are the good things and what it's all about, even more than the wins. Once he fully grasped that? He was all-in... and that was the start of the Rams transforming from a good team.. to an excellent program.

Mcvay is the best coach we've ever had and deserves all the accolads but Snead deserves as much credit, IMO. It was Snead who drafted Puka, Kobie Turner, Byron Young, Kyren, Kupp, etc and let's not forget about trading for Robert Woods, big Whit, Dotson Adam's etc. Im sure McCay has had some input on some of these decisions but it's been Snead's who's ass is on the line. Mcvay is the best coach ever and Snead is the best GM ever. IMO, these two guys go hand in hand. Kudos to Shawn though. He deserves every honor he gers.
