Snead has been a hot interview over the years with his "F them Picks" strategy, but one thing he is quick to point out is that it is not done in a vacuum. He does not trade for talent with draft picks because it makes him feel good. It's a special sauce of FA pickups, trades with draft and player assets with compensation formula implications, etc.

One of the key things he's mentioned is that the draft positions were overvalued in his opinion. He has clearly taken advantage of that. But now that other teams are doing the exact same thing in this copycat league, my take is Snead will go the other way.

I don't expect any major moves for prime picks, but we'll see. But regardless, I actually would be happy to payroll Snead's entry into this poker tournament, because I think he's the shark at the table and will adjust depending on other GM's tells.

Then I would expect Snead to work some magic on trading some of our current roster for draft picks. Hypothetical example: Taylor Rapp for a 2023 5th and a 2024 7th.

I concur I would unload to reload come 2023-2024. Especially along the offensive line please.

Snead caused this with last years SB success. Just look at the crazy off-season deals with QBs and WRs. Not to mention the high draft cost asking price currently.

As to Snead Ram trades today - I think we’ll see nothing.

The 2nd round is a decent place to grab interior OL, too.

If they just would have taken Humphrey last year instead of Tutu... I know GMs have a lot more info to go off of, but it was such a layup pick.

Have to move on from that as it's over and just ensure something like that does not happen again.

Considering the current state of the NFC-wide open, the existing star power and age of our roster, the desire of both Snead and McVay to always be competing for a Super Bowl-especially in this market I would be shocked if we didn’t make a move.

Well I would believe that if Snead wasn't also involved with the Tavon Austin pick

You would think they would have learned from undersized WRs that small from that pick alone

Snead should have been yelling after McVay suggested Tutu...

NOOOOOOOOOOOO - WE ALREADY TRIED THAT WITH TAVON AUSTIN

Excellent op-ed piece.

And don't forget that Snead is the Head Scout who runs these other Scouts and they're doing a pretty damn good job overall.

So they could do a little bit better job in the running back position.
Not every running back has to run a 4.3.

You always need a couple beasts in the stable.
