Can't quite go there since I don't know what the injury was and how much pain and all that. But I suspect there are guys on our OL who would have played through that same injury. We of course will never know.

Either way at this point I am just happy he is playing well at guard and hope he can finish the season there so he will have enough value for us to move his ass in the offseason.
Having had one a shoulder contusion is no fun

No doubt. I took myself out of a game in high school from a stinger, so it's not like I have some high pain tolerance.

But either way I don't trust the dude to stay healthy or be there when we need him even if it's a big game.

I get it but you know me, generally give the players the benefit of the doubt.

Should've used the blue font lol. Boom is definitely changing my mind about him.

I agree, and as someone who had been pretty critical of him, I can now see him completing his 2024 contract with us if he can manage to stay on the field free from injury. Moving him next season brings on a $15.M Dead Money CAP hit, something the Rams may not want to face considering how improved our overall CAP outlook appears next year. The other thing to consider is Anchrum's & Dotson's impending loss to free agency following this season. I suspect that we'll also lose our back-up Center Brian Allen as there will be substantial CAP savings moving him out. I can easily see the Rams drafting a RG/C type to back up both Shelton & Noteboom next year and then potentially take over as a starter at one of these two positions in 2025.
jmo.

He played well two werks in a row

If you recall Munchak was at camp. The Rams recently asked him to stay on in some capacity. How much of this improvement across the line is coaching? Or is it just a easier scheme to play?

Dotson was on the verge of being cut by the Steelers. Will his services really be that much in demand?
I'm thinking next weeks game against Philadelphia at Sofi is going to be a barnburner ...
Philly has a very good DLine. I’m anxious to see how it plays out.

So... Boom was solid at LT today. Dotson looked PHYSICAL.

What are we thinking, moving forward?
All I'm thinking right now is please stay healthy. If Boom can survive until Jackson returns maybe this line holds up for us.

Boom has done a great job though I agree. Hope it continues.

On first watch, Dotson looked good enough to challenge for a spot as starter. Seems to pack more of a punch than Anchrum, TBH.

So if Jackson returns at LT, Boom beats out Dotson at RG.... right....?

Jackson Avila Shelton Dotson Havenstein

Can’t depend on Noteboom on a weekly basis. He’s always getting booboo’s
And this line is the most stout and best to go against Philly Whiners game 2.

Also keeping Noteboom “ available” to jump in when needed for time to time.
And he can keep the game plan going!
Also don’t look now but I’m glad McClendon Jr is on the game day line up. And I can see Willie being our future RT possibly as Havs replacement

The irony, of course.. is that Noteboom was playing because AJ has a boo boo.
