This is a good point why stats should just be one data point. Can be terribly skewed by snaps played.Don't know about Austin Schlottmann. Would not consider him an up-grade.
Live in NYC, and see all the Giants' games. Schlottmann is a career back-up at guard and center; and was signed by NY for depth. He started 4 games last year when the Giants' starting center (Schmitz) was injured.
Schlottmann and Coleman Shelton are the same age (31 for 2026). Both have played seven years in the NFL ... Shelton as 66 career starts ... Schlottmann has 17 (3 less than Shelton had in 2025 counting the playoffs).
I am not a PFF fan ... Schlottmann had 360 snaps in 2025 ... Shelton had almost four-times that (1,120 snaps).
