Shuia will have his suitors and if the Ravens part ways with John Harbaugh I could see him being a serious candidate in Baltimore. However, we know that Shula interviewed for the Dolphins a few years ago for their DC position, so he is on their radar.
He was totally in control because he had Tua playing to a high level, then last year Tua had 2 concussions with no backup QB and they lost 6 of 7. They still fought hard to just miss the playoffs. So what happened? He's saddled with the worst version of Tua and no legit backup
If dolphin fans want hope, young Shula would be the way to go without current gm. then they could start over and be the dolphins of old. hope they don't, I don't want to lose our Shula.

Yeah - it’s like saying AD99 was going to get traded or not resigned.
At what point does he become a FA & The league Rams lose there rights to him ? He still has another year under contract.
Since McVay was hired 26 NFL teams have made coaching changes to the tune of 57 new coaches. The most frequent changers? Oakland/Las Vegas 4 times. Arizona, Carolina, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, NY Giants and NY Jets 3 times each. Tennessee has already opted to join that group. The Rams, San Francisco, Buffalo, Kansas City, Baltimore and Pittsburgh haven't made changes since 2018. Here's an interesting tidbit....Cincinnati, Green Bay, Minnesota, Philadelphia and Seattle have only made 1 change since then and ironically, 3 of those 5 hired McVay assistants. Man, is it a great time to be a Rams fan or what?
The GM firing may turn the heat down on that hotseat in Miami. But if I were that owner I'd fire McDaniels. I think they are best served getting as high a pick as possible and taking a QB.
I don't know. There are a couple I would need to think hard about but I am not sure.
Bill Walsh maybe ... there was an innovative quality to Walsh that ... in my opinion ... McVay also possesses.
In his day, Paul Brown was truly innovative.
That would take me to another factor ... the Time-Period. Football has evolved; and some of the qualities that made a head coach special decades ago, might not (Would Not IMO) carry-over today.
Lombardi's players loved him. I believe he was a truly great coach. However, I don't think his mentality would work today. Just one example ... the Packers' power-sweep was a Green Bay-staple; and Lombardi would say ... Even if the opponent knows it's coming, provided we execute it properly, that opposing team can't stop it ... That would not work today.
Shula, Landry, Coryell were all special. I loved how Shula and Landry evolved over time with different rosters. That's why I do not include Chuck Noll. Excellent coach but once that core group from the 1970's got old, the Steelers under Noll were mostly just average.

I see the blue font; and I genuinely respect the six Lombardi Trophies. Can't be ignored.
However, his winning-percentage with Tom Brady at QB was almost 77% ... That's Amazing ... Great ... Elite.
Belichick's winning-percentage without Brady is 45% ... That ain't good ... and it covers almost 200 games ... not a small sample size.
By comparison, Andy Reid has a winning-% of 79% with Mahomes ... Again ... That's Amazing ... Great ... Elite.
Without Mahomes at QB, Reid's winning-% is an Excellent 59% ... and that covers over 300 games.
Plus, Bill Belichick is just such a Fucking Ass-hole. That ... Also ... can't be ignored.
