I don’t understand the hate towards Clay. This is a business.

They are both using the available tools to their advantage. Rams are waiting to see where he signs to offset the money while Clay is leveraging his ability to file a grievance to get his money sooner.

If you were in Clay’s shoes and you weren’t getting paid money for work you did, wouldn’t you take the steps necessary to change that?

The only way I agree with what your saying is if clay is right then the rams should just pay it they are wrong and clay has every right if the rams are late.
If he is not it is just dragging his former teams name through the mud. And at that point when facts are in we can hate on clay lol. In reality if he just is a bonehead and didn't see fine print on the contract or his agent is even more of a bonehead since that's his job then yea I'd want the rams to sue back for deformation of character lolol. If he is right then yea he deserves his money plus interest from when it was truly due.

I don't think anyone is hating on him. I think we may be over protective of our team but fair is fair. Once the facts are in then we shall see. I'm sure if the rams are wrong most of us would call them out as well.

The rams do seem to be confident though that they don't owe it yet and gurley seems to have backed off and already stated he isn't filing a grievance so maybe that means someone explained the lingo properly to gurley and he is owed almost 3 times as much maybe clay really is blonde!!!
