There were a lot of fans excited about Daniels when he was drafted. And there were a lot of fans not excited. Some evaluators had him ranked higher than others and what I read about him had me excited. I've heard "he lacked production" (which isn't accurate). I've heard his measurables show he's not anything more than a complimentary WR. But everything about him screams RAMS!!! His drive. His football IQ. His hands. His blocking. There was Kupp, then Nacua and quite possibly Daniels is a lot like them. We'll see. IMO, there's nothing wrong with getting excited provided we remember, it's only been 2 or 3 days of camp.
It's a copy-cat league but you can't copy-cat something like draft savvy if you don't have any. You'd think after the Rams hit so big on Kupp and Puka that the "experts" (cough cough) would learn their lesson but ...
My love for the Rams is intoxicating. It's way too early to be that drunk.
Same and Amen!My love for the Rams is intoxicating.
And I love anybody that loves the Rams.
And it's a beautiful thing!
And I refuse to apologize for that damn it!
Still early, but it was disappointing to here D'Marco Farr state that C.J. Daniel doesn't play special teams on ESPN this afternoon.
That's got to change.
Well until he's able to beat out Nacua and Adams, he's probably going to have to do something on special teams to be active on game day.Not if he beats out everyone ahead of him. Puka and Adams don’t play teams.

Didn't they have four wide receivers as game day actives usually?Well until he's able to beat out Nacua and Adams, he's probably going to have to do something on special teams to be active on game day.
Did you notice him saying Demoff was on the short list for commissioner if Goodell goes?Still early, but it was disappointing to here D'Marco Farr state that C.J. Daniel doesn't play special teams on ESPN this afternoon.

Sure. If the plan is to go back to very heavy 11 personnel again. But given all the TE usage lately I doubt that's about to happen.Well…debatable. If he becomes a player our long term success is reliant upon as a WR3…that changes things.
Yeah. I heard that.Did you notice him saying Demoff was on the short list for commissioner if Goodell goes?
Last year I think it was 5 usually. I believe it was one of the reasons Tutu Atwell was inactive so much.Didn't they have four wide receivers as game day actives usually?

That is unless that small fast guy can contribute effectively on special teams.I really hope Atwell lights it up in Miami. We just have to know as much as McVay loves the *idea* of a small fast guy, he calls plays for WRs that can block so each play looks the same as the last.
Hopefully, he doesn’t draft anymore small fast guys. Atwell really showed up for us with Nacua and DA went down and he was always prepared.

His first order of business should be to reverse the result of superbowl 36. Then ban bellyfat and the golden boy from entry into the hall of fame.
.
I think Tutu was just product of bad timing when he was drafted by us. In 21, McVay was still looking at those fast home run hitters to pair with Stafford as evidence by bringing in DeSean Jackson that year also. Philosophy switched to the hybrid WR during that season and beyond I think. Always had it with Kupp and Bobby Trees and I think those two were big factors in shaping McVay's future thinking while watching them dominate both as catchers and blockers. I think McVay kept the speedster in his back pocket just in case defenses started to adjust and beat his new philosophy so he could switch back if needed. Seems like with 13 personnel revelation last season he's fully committed at this point.I really hope Atwell lights it up in Miami.
