Those teams are certainly more mature offensively than the Rams offense under Cignetti, so I'd rather he start this way at the very least.

Of course someone will be in the booth but today's NFL shows us there's no reason it needs to be the play caller. There doesn't seem to be any advantage to be had by having your OC in the booth.

Whether Cignetti would be of better use to his immature offense in the booth or on the sideline, i figure that's up Cignetti...
