Outdoor stadiums are lame IMO. When bad weather hits it increases chance of injury to the players, decreases the skill on display as an entertainment product, and generally makes for a miserable fan experience live. I say "generally" because I suppose some fans might like it even if they are freezing cold all day, but you have to think most would not enjoy standing in -20 degree weather. No idea why any team, or leage, would want the aforementioned. Just build a retractable roof. Teams can keep it open to play through some elements if they feel that gives them an advantage, but there is zero reason any teams should be playing in full blown storms in 2026 IMO.
No excuses for this Rams team - rain, sun, storm, whatever. Losing to Carolina twice simply cannot happen, and if it does, these players, and this coaching staff, have a lot to answer for. We are more or less healthy. Irritatingly, the Panthers are somehow even healthier and I don't think have a single injury, which is seemingly impossible after an NFL season, but such is the Rams' typical luck. I thought the Rams, missing only 1 or 2 key pieces, were already beyond fortunate!
