Enjoyed watching DT Darious Philon of the Chargers against the Ravens. He was higly effective against the run & pass. He will be a UFA in March along with NT's 35 yr old wonder Brandon Mebrane & Damion Square. If Mebrane plays next week that middle of their DL will be much stronger.

Mebane is the kind of FA the Rams need to bring in for their DL.
A good, solid, vet 3/4 guy. Not a "star". No a flashy guy but effective and he cost the Chargers about $3M a year.
The Rams need to find a couple of guys like that to replace Suh (for well less total spend) and draft the best pass rusher available when they draft....DL or OLB.

Jackson is terrible as a QB right now.
Chargers went soft on D and almost pulled a Chargers late.
How can they fare vs NE next week?
Can they score 35 to win that game?
Doubtful.
