The Browns did but he got reverted back to their practice squad. We should poach him ASAP.Did anyone else pick him up?

Murch in for AD, might have made a difference. Giants ran away from the slant... left big hole outside Murch and inside Hoecht

yeah you are right about not knowing what is taught in practices but with as many late round picks you would think we would be able to field good special team players. i know our gunners cant get there right when the punt is being caught like i have seen from other teams. oh well i know nothing as Shultz (hogans hero's) would say.I have no idea what is being taught in practice and what players are retaining. But it looks like players missed tackles they are paid to make in the specific case of the PR TD.
I just don't jump to blame the coach on things I don't understand.
On this last one TD -- 58 yards punt ... 4.3 hang ... that's about NFL average and right around Evan's average -- maybe a hair less --- but this one goes maybe 10 yards further than his and league average...give or take. That's 10 more yards (more or less) for gunners to cover with no additional time.i know our gunners cant get there right when the punt is being caught like i have seen from other teams.
Eh, we'll have to agree to disagree. We didn't win here, the Giants lost. We were hot before our mini bye, and it looks like the time off was a disadvantage more than an advantage.Never take win ing for granted in the NFL. Celebrate EVERY Win especially one this important.
I like the transcripts... sometimes I'm curious about what was said on a certain topic, and don't want to watch the whole damn video. At least that is a fair criticism!

If you punt it 58 yards and get more hang time, gunners can get there. I would just want some questions answered on punt coverage on the breakdowns ...
People can see what they think ... but on this one...seems like outkicking coverage and bad tackling.

They'd just sign him. Hopkins is still injured. The Browns did but he got reverted back to their practice squad. We should poach him ASAP.
Why would they sign him when Havrisik will be on the market? They'd just sign him. Hopkins is still injured.
sometimes a player is what he is and he as in Joes case benefits from his situation financially.
At the end of the day you have to applaud the effort, he was good enough and is versatile just too darn expensive.
I'd say its likely a lack of talent. We've all seen some starters that aren't good tacklers, or that take bad angles. If its not a coaching thing then its a player thing. The talent on defense is lacking, so the depth players who contribute on Special teams are even worse.Like a fake? I just don't know what you mean by scheme.
If you mean "special" like a fake ... maybe Rams players have not executed one in practice so they don't do it in a game.
Right now I would settle for punter controling his leg a bit better and guys making tackles on returns. Both long TDs looked schematically fine, but I have not broken them down, either. They looked like poor execution to me.
If you want to blame the coach for bad execution, fine. That's your right, but I've not sene anything in Punt coverage and kikcof coverage that looks like a schematic disadvantage.
It's about staying in lanes and making a tackle.
Next year is the final year of Noteboom's deal, and it's pretty massive. I don't see much upside to restructuring it. We should start preparing for the future.Yeah, I think it’s the $$ that bothers people because Noteboom is a valuable asset as a backup. He’s played 3 positions this season. Granted, LT seems to be his best, but having a guy like that to fill in and spot start is a good thing to have.
Drafting a LT and having that rookie deal would help balance out the $$, but the Rams could also try to restructure Noteboom’s contract. I’m not to saavy on that stuff, but I would try to keep him to play the role he’s playing now
I keep saying that between Noteboom and Jackson, the Rams have one solid player.
I get what you’re saying. The future isn’t gonna be built on backups, but a big run NEXT season is another matter. The OL has been the biggest strength of 2023 and I personally would not break it up any more than is necessary.Next year is the final year of Noteboom's deal, and it's pretty massive. I hated it at the time.Letting Bones go may be one of the biggest gaffs in Mcvays tenure.
