That was a close one.
I hope that having an almost perfect game against the cards to having 2 critical turnovers against the bucks that it will not mean a trend of more turnovers against the 9ers.
We have to play even better next week.
I'm going to hope that by not using Sony on crucial possessions (I felt like he should have gotten more that 4 yrds). Especially when it was obvious they were trying to strip the ball from Akers. I know they do it all the time but it just felt like I would have used Sony to get a few 1st down runs. May be next week against the whiners. Go rams

.

i think it's time to consider if brady is the devil's son.

it's impossible how many lucky breaks he gets in games. nothing we saw out there was normal.

luckily the rams d and stafford to kupp was too strong for his evil powers to overcome.

.
yeah i was thinking that earlier... he made a deal with the devil... but the devil had to go to the fridge for just one second.

I'm sorry, but no.

McVay actively tried to give this game away.

End of the first half, the officials rule the ball down, he goes "hey, let's take a timeout here and give them a chance to review it". Cost the team at least 3 points with that fumble.

End of the 2nd half, ruled down 4th down, McVay goes "hey, let's take a timeout here and give them a chance to review it". Ball goes up a foot as a result and the play Morris calls is to trust fucking REEDER to make the play?

All the 1st down runs that resulted in NO yards until late in the 4th quarter as he tried to prove his gameplan was sound and smarter than anyone else thought it was.

The conservative ass playing for punts towards the end of the game when Tampa clearly had ALL the momentum and trying to be cute with game management that resulted in poor game management.

Putting in Akers there when fumbling has kind of been his thing instead of Sony.

I'm sorry, this win is 100% on the Rams defense (though I'm still praying Colinsworth is right and somebody is going to give Raheem Morris a head coaching job anywhere else but LA after the season) and Matt Stafford, who was phenomenal. The choke job and attempt to give the game away for the 2nd time in 3 weeks is 80% on McVay, with a little spread out for Brian Allen for being a turnstile who can't even snap properly and Cam for not putting 2 hands on the ball.

I have 0 faith this team is going to not pull the same shit with disastrous consequences next week. None.

I said after the Niners game I didn't have faith this team was going to be able to make it through the playoffs to the Super Bowl, and given the matchup next week and what I saw today, absolutely nothing has changed my opinion on this matter. Taking the money for my seats and running like a thief.
Offense fumbled 3 times in the second half…plenty of blame to go around

Probably a Niners fan. Hope they enjoy the game, because there's no way McVay doesn't blow it - the guy doesn't learn. I'd rather be angry at home and 4 grand richer than angry at a stadium.
The niners having a home field advantage last time we played them didn't help our chances to win. Way to be part of the problem. Could've at least made sure to sell them to a rams fan. Someone in here probably would've bought them.

I love me some cooper kupp and Matty Stafford … you were worth those pics .. I loved goff but he wasn’t doing that tonight no matter what … I just wish to god we did what we do best for the entire game instead of playing conservative on both sides of the ball … we need to put 50
On the niners by the half and make Jimmie actually beat us and not let them run it it 40 times

Let’s go rams

I dislike Brady more than just about anybody for how much crap he gets away with, and it always makes me cringe when I see the GOAT stuff (just because I think Unitas was better). But today, thing is, he didn't really get many lucky breaks. That 2nd to last drive where he missed on 4th down, he had Gronk flat-out open for an easy touchdown. Gronk had beaten somebody (looked like Long?) and had a great angle towards the back corner. Brady just flat-out didn't see him, which is the only reason they ended up losing as things progressed. And let's be honest, that 15 yarder they called on him was kind of a makeup call for 15 years of getting preferential treatment. His receivers didn't do him any favors for 40 minutes, and his O-Line certainly didn't have his back at all.

Gotta give credit where it was due on this one today - he just brought them back almost through sheer force of will (and boneheaded play on the other side).
