I know you only have to break the plane but did anyone else get a bit nervous when Kyren jumped through the endzone and landed out of bounds? I was waiting for the refs to pull out some obscure rule from the back of the rule book to negate the touchdown and give the ball to the Bears.
Not much different than Parkinson's TD against the Panthers last week.

Was coming here to post this exact tweet. Couldn't tell how much of an insane throw this was until seeing this angle. That is crazy arm ability. See shit like this and I know he's got a few more years left in him if he wants.
And if you look at where he's facing and where the ball goes, this may have been a no-look job to boot

There are certain things during a game that I don't notice until I see a replay later. That play had one. Notice when Swift tried to hurdle there, Darius Williams went low, adjusted last second and went up to hit Swift. That allowed Lake to come and deliver the hit to prevent any yardage gained. If Williams stayed low its possible Swift hurdles him and Lake might not have gotten there in time to prevent a TD.

Stats Shmats.... :eyeroll:

I want the ball in his hands no matter if he's having a so-so game.... You always have a chance with Stafford throwing the ball.
Can't disagree with that. 3 game winning drives during the 2021 Superbowl run. 2 playoff games this year. 2 game winning drives. Of the 14 QB's in this year's playoffs I'd take him over all the rest in that situation.

Its still a team game. The defense came through when needed. But at that position no one is better.

That's my thinking at well. And I wonder which one is the better 3rd down/blocking back?
Here's my point.

Walker has 14 carries on 3rd down for 109 yards (7.8 ypc) with 1 TD & 31 Red Zone carries for 101 (3.3) 4 TDs
Charbonnet has 30 3rd down carries for 121 (4.0 ypc) with 4 TD & 50 Red Zone carries for 125 yards (2.5) 11 TDs.

They're going to miss Charbonnet because he's their short yardage/red zone back. Just look at the attempts.

I don't know from observation but PFF rates them both as bad pass protectors with Charb being marginally better.
Ah, that's not it then. Seahawks fans are pretty dejected about it. Maybe it's just the split back thing.

Maybe with more carries he might be dog-tired by mid 3rd quarter? But quite honestly, I don't see how losing a player can be a plus.
Maybe.

It's about matchups and what we have trouble with. Since our run defense has improved this year, I'm much less concerned about RBs that excel between the tackles. But explosive players are still a problem.

In game 2, Walker had 11 runs for 100 yards; good for 9.1 ypc. Charb had 9 for 32 at 3.6 ypc.

Game 1, Walker had 16 for 67, good for 4.2 ypc. Charb was 11 for 37 yards at 3.4 ypc.

Given the choice, keep the more explosive player on the sideline please. When playing Seattle, I like when they hand off to Charb.
