For a second there I thought that was Fish.
He 100 percent got pushed, but I think him misjudging the ball played a huge part. I don't think the push off was so egregious that he would end up 4 yards off the ball. I think he made a mistake where he was going for the pick instead of just playing his man.He got pushed. Plain and simple.
He was not moving towards the line of scrimmage.
Debate it all you want.
There no other explanation for the direction he was moving.
I'm not to sure about that. You go back to the Panther game and last night, Durant is a guy making big plays like pass deflections and INTs when the Rams needed it. The guy is really getting seasoned with 4 years.I think we need to upgrade on Durant. He's a ballhawk, but he's not consistent from down to down and misses too many tackles.
I was very surprised that fucker didn't go for 2. Defense looked gassed.Johnson in his post game presser said us stopping them so well in short yardage situations was why he didn't go for 2 with the game tying rd
This last game showed what a shitty 23rd ranked defense (the Bears) can do when all eleven step up and play with intensity. At this point I'm not taking anything or any team for granted. One of either the 'Hawks or Rams most likely will.
Hard to believe NE beats either of us. And no way Stidham leads the broncs past NE.
See that's where I'm at. If you have a guy that shows up in big games, I want that dude on my team. Now with that said, if he wants stupid money, then that's another story cuz I'd be like bye Felicia.I'm not to sure about that. The guy is 5' 11"...he reminds me of Rod Perry/Pat Thomas. He has excellent cover skills but he's going against bigger WRs, and winning most times.Duant has 3 ints in two games. Thats impressive especially during the playoffs.
Agreed on him being a good CB 2. He does give up big plays too often.
I'd say it would be typical of the Rams. The louder fans complain the more often karma throws them a knuckleball to our knuckleheadsImagine if someone told you before the game that ST and our secondary would win the game.
One thing I have learned about the NFL. There is no such thing as law of averages. If there was, the rams would never have lost 17 in a row to the whiners.Just saying we are due to lose one since we won four in a row. I don't like streaks. Always think they are due to be broken. In fact the first 3 home teams won this weekend. Odds are one road team wins. That went in our favor.
Looked like Couple of head slaps to QBs (both ways) not called. There should've been a hands-to-the-face against the Bears before that fourth-down goalline stop. Johnson nearly got his eyes poked out on that play; it's why he was out for a while. It was very much obvious, too.
They kept the flags to a minimum, I'll say that much.
i understand Toradol is allowed in the NFL but should not to be used more than several days.Hmmmm
Yes, I re-watched that play. Johnson stopped playing immediately once poked, and even the Bears defender stopped and made sure he was ok, putting his hand on Desjuan's shoulder. There should've been a hands-to-the-face against the Bears before that fourth-down goalline stop. Ben Johnson said post game they considered going for 2, but given how their other short yardage plays had gone, he thought the better of it.Did anyone else feel relieved that Johnson didn't go for two? My son and I were sure he would go for two with his mentality. Probably our inconsistent offense gave them confidence that they would win in OT.
Yeah I thought they would go for it. But they had like 10 plays inside the 5 last night and really only had success on 1. I get his line of thinking.Ben Johnson said post game they considered going for 2, but given how their other short yardage plays had gone, he thought the better of it.
Yeah dont bother giving credit to the team when all you're concerned with is sniffing Stafford's jockStats Shmats....
I want the ball in his hands no matter if he's having a so-so game.... You always have a chance with Stafford throwing the ball.
