If you got a minute, can you tell the story on that. Did the Rams interview Shanahan? Did the Niners interview McVay? Did McVay interview with other teams? How did the Rams snatch up McVay before other teams?

apparently the whiners showed interest in mcvay so the rams would panic sign him. they had their eyes on shanahan. so the whiners tricked the rams into signing the lesser coach.

that was whiner fans logic before the 2017 season began.

the reality is the whiners were gaga over shanahan and didn't realise they had the best candidate they were ever going to find sitting in front of them. mcvay came to the rams and after 15 minutes they knew he wasn't leaving lala land without a 5 year deal.

A team with ZERO passing game that got shutout by DA BEARS in the NFC Championship game 24-0 because the only play the Rams had was to hand it off to Eric Dickerson.
I remember early in the game where Dieter overthrew a WIDE OPEN Ron Brown 10 yards from the line of scrimmage with NO ONE anywhere close by. That would have been the easiest 80 yard TD ever.

It would have made it 7-0 and who knows what would have happened.

However, Chicago was selling out to stop the run and Dickerson didn't have a chance that game. It was extremely cold and no one could throw the ball that day.

Both us and the 49ers interviewed him. He blew us both away. We tried to interview Little Shanny but couldn't make it work. Instead of waiting, we called McVay back in for a second interview before SF could and basically locked him down at that point, before the 49ers could get him back in the building.

More than happy to celebrate the win because the defense came to life. However, they gotta be on their game against the Packers because let's be real...aside from Littleton...if the Ram LBs don't step it up this defense will get burned by the Packers mid range passing game because the Rams weak spot is LBs and tackling. They MUST do better! It's great that Barron is back...that will help.

Rodgers ain't no joke...but to the Rams advantage...the Packer secondary defense is worse than the Rams.

The fame has the feeling of a shootout for me!

I seem to remember reading that Sean was offered the 9ers job, with the caveat that he have his staff fully fleshed out or something to that effect. Couldn't find it, but my old memory seems to think he had his choice of both jobs but was smart enough to go with Stan and his young roster.
