Think I need to celebrate more. This one was fantastic and thanks Lions for making us appreciate it. :laugh4:

It may sound lame, but I thought this was a great victory. We were playing a team that was completely desperate and threw everything in the book they had at us. I think it was more emotional of a game for Stafford than he cared to let on. I think it was emotional for Goff and McVay too. It's a game we should have won, maybe more handedly, but we showed that we can get those clutch 3rd down plays, the clutch defensive plays, and get Ws.

Just watching Stafford on the sidelines at the end of the game, it's obvious how much this game meant to him. Goff tried hard too, but aside from 3 special teams miracles, they had no chance.

Lions did what they had to. The trickery was their only chance. And they pulled off 3 special teams tricks. In the end, Rams were just a better team. Its a long season. Not every game is gonna be easy. Even against inferior opponents. Take the win and move on to the next opponent.

Lackluster performance. Win is a win.
I’m more concerned with HORRIFIC special teams.. our midget CB group if Rochell is hurt.. bad tackling.. and don’t love that they’re just going 5 wide constantly.

I cant remember our special teams getting smashed in a more dominant fashion in my entire life. McVay has to do what's necessary to improve the coaching here. Last year was bad too.

Props to the Lions coaches for the special teams plays.

Kupp, Donald and Ramsey were the difference. Cant keep great players down forever.
