#1. The sky is not falling. The offense is on fire. Didn't you hear that alarm go off during the press conference....
#2. Injuries are going to happen. Hopefully neither (our CBs...) will take over a couple of weeks and our defensive line will step up.
#3. We still have the best special team's coach. Yes, we will need another "next man up..." as a kick/punt returner and our kicker is top tier rated. but week in and week out, they do something that changes the game in our favor.......Kudos, Bones.
#4. And while we are 3-0 with visions of sugar plums (whatever the hell those are....) dancing in our heads......we will not go undefeated. But we can sustain momentum, to be the highest ranked seed for the playoffs. Yes, the field sucks, but who really wants to play in Philly, Green Bay or Minnesota come January. I'll take our house, w/ all of it's imperfections. It's imperfections we understand and the other teams won't. and besides, USC won't be playing in January after losing to Texas... (or Stanford, or Oregon, or Washington......ok...they may not play all of those teams....but the ones they will, will be a loss.....).
And....
#5. Our offense is on fire....... (somewhere in the background, someone is playing the Talking Heads' Burning down the house. I think it's Mojo.... for his guy to dance to....). And we got that going for us. Damn good job today guys. Go Rams.

Sugar plums are old style hard candy shaped like tiny fruit. Very sweet. Candy back then was much more the rare treat. Kids didn't get it so often so it was much desired, kind of like wins for Rams fans for the past decade.

A couple of takeaways from today's game. When Mike Williams made
that great TD catch with a great leap over Marcus Peters, Dan Fouts, the CBS color commentator, intoned "Take that, Marcus Peters." Now I realize that Fouts played his entire career for the Chargers and I could understand the homerism if he were doing play-by-play for Chargers radio network but he's supposed to affect some posture of neutrality working for CBS which is not owned or operated by the Los Chargers. I believe the network ought to bring this to his attention.

I live in Southern California so I can listen to both the Rams and Chargers post-game broadcasts. Charger color commentator claimed that if Joey Bossa were playing today if would have changed the dynamics of the game and Chargers most likely would have won. Then he went on to state that Derwin Smith on his pick in his own endzone thought he had an open lane with nothing but real estate in front of him to dash 100 yards for a pick six but then he noticed Gurley in the lane and decided to run the ball and got caught on his own one-yard line. That of course led to to our special teams TD which helped to turn the tide of the game. Of course--and I'm not a Charger fan-he should have downed the ball for a Touchback.
Anyway it was a great victory and our first real test that we passed with flying colors and it was a fun game to watch.

Flagging Blythe for a hold when he didn't even touch anyone was an obvious example that tomfoolery going on.

How about Woods getting nailed for holding on that long screen? He slapped the Chargers defender on the shoulder, and the guy took a dive. Refs rewarded him with a flag. Such BS.

Had to chime in and say Higbee made the most of his two targets and that one catch was a beauty.

He’s gotten a lot of flack around here. Some of it, deserved. But ya also gotta give credit where it’s due.

That was a great pass by Goff and great catch by Higbee

Fantastic game vs a very tough opponent. Cory's punt block probably turned the tide. Can't wait to review it!!
Goff/Kupp with the play of the game, escaping the rush & hitting Kupp in stride... I can't believe we have a QB who can make that throw + the throws to Higbeast & Woods. Goff 29/36. Ima smile all day.

Good lord the cancerous responses to Orlando's tweet.
I think the reply from the guy who thought OP was teaching Saffold his "moves" meant OP was coaching Saffold.... just straight up cringeworthy gold. c'mon man!
But yeah OP dogging Saffold for that weak bob n weave, LOL
