I'm impressed with how hard they play for each other. That was a great stand at the one-yard line late in the game that burned a lot of valuable time off the clock.

Our kicker is killing us. We were enjoying smooth sailing until he missed.

DK is a clown show. Imagine how good we would be with Jaylen there instead.
Smooth sailing? Did he fumble the ball twice in Washington territory? Blow 1st and goal from inside the 5?

I get that people are frustrated/concerned with him.. but let's try to keep our heads.

He would have had 2 if Witherspoon didn't tip that one pass away from him.

We went from a no drama win to another learning situation. It was mostly 1st & 2nd year players that were the catalyst for the mild drama

KW 2 fumbles
Kendrick a terrible 4th quarter
Puka a drive stalling drop of a routine catch for him
Place kicker issues
these 4 were a big part of the late concern of an unlikely comeback
2 and 4 are reoccurring and probably going to be our demise at some point. In the playoffs though.

Compare DK to Ramsey? A seasoned vet vs a 2nd year guy?

But there are some valid comparisons.

Both are good against the run.
Both let their emotions get the best of them sometimes
Both take dumb penalties every now and then
Both get beat deep more than they should.

I'm thrilled we hung on. If KW hung onto the ball, Washington would have got the ball with 5:03 left trailing 38-14 instead of 28-14. But we won anyway. And for that I'm extremely happy.

Kyren fumbles twice. One denying us more points. Kendrick basically gave up 3 TD's. 2 receptions and PI in the endzone. But they still win. I think maybe as last week's loss lit a fire in them because they know they can play with anyone, today's win might light a fire in them because they know they can't take anything for granted.

I feel like our biggest concern is place kicker. I just feel like if they stick with Havrisik sooner or later we're gonna lose a game where a 40 yarder woulda won it. He showed maybe he can get better last week. But today missing another chip shot and barely sneaking a couple more in the uprights can we afford to stick with him?

Yeah but that just might be what this team needed for this short week. The score should have been around 35-7. And we could have given Wentz some snaps among others but almost blowing it may be better in the long run.
I don’t know how that could be good. This team was on a roll and in the first half the offensive line was a mess against the Commodes defense. Then we get the fumbles, then we get the offensive highs mixed with some offensive lulls. Play calling seemed off at times. Then Kendricks gets exposed and the speed of the safeties gets exploited. A lot was bad against a very bad team. I don’t know how that will build the confidence of the team. If anything I think it hurts it.

I’m less optimistic for the Thursday night game now. The Saints have Carr back. He looked good. I was hoping the Rams would go into that game sky high and hitting on all cylinders. It feels like the team really stalled and parts of it have been exposed.

Hopefully Havenstein returns and Witherspoon can play. I don’t ever want to see Kendrick attempting to play Man coverage again.

Man.. what this game could've been with no turnovers and no missed FG.. (and maybe Sean calling for more run plays on 1st down inside the 5...)

Washington is dead last in defense.. and they couldn't break 30 on them. Lame.
Defense held them to exactly their average.
