BTW, it also opens a roster spot so this allows them to keep a younger player instead of cutting a guy once they activate Noteboom.

Just an FYI in case you haven't see it ...

The Rams activated Noteboom; and, despite having an open spot on the 53 as a result of the White trade, they still moved Jonah Williams to the Practice Squad.

So they are still at 52. Guessing either Jonah Jackson or Steve Avila will also come-off the IR.

Take EJ for example... You really gonna tell me he wouldn't make our defense a whole helluva better right now if we had him on our roster? He played lights out vs the rams last Sunday

I heard his name mentioned once when he dropped an INT that was right in his hands.

I think most of us felt he was a pretty good ILB. But none of us know the real reasons for the trade. All we can do is speculate.
